At first sight, Kay can look like a really calm guy, but he just has a good self-control (even resorting to meditation and breathing exercises to just "keep calm and carry on"). Aside that, he's always polite and friendly with everyone and tries his best to avoid or solve conflicts whenever it's possible (principally when he knows it just will stress him).

He's one of Kiara's best friends, having known the vixen since they were cubs, at 8 years old (when she was still the shy fox boy Richard, even before he become aware and decide about transgendering). Already grown up, he now shares a house with her and Lyza (who went to live with them eventually). And, finally, Kay works as music teacher in a local elementary school. He’s already into music since the beginning of his teen age when he learned how to play guitar, and rock, principally progressive rock, since he was just a cub, both under the influence of his mother, Liana.

Nothing specific to say about his design, to be honest. Since he’s a tiger, he has stripes (duh), but I never did set a specific pattern (although I can stick with this simplified pattern I'm using for this ref sheet). The only details I have determined for him are just the spots under the eyes and some of the stripes on his face and tail. As I did with other characters, I’m using the 6 head tall sizing, but he’s a bit taller than everyone else (around 1,80m, or 6’ tall), but still under the average for a tiger, since they can be larger than that.
