A Massive Unwinding by foxgamer01 (critique requested)

A Massive Unwinding

When Kyra the Kyrathane left work that day, she was a foot taller than she would’ve liked. The kitsune-like lady’s four tails, large and bushy with gray fur and white tips, remained still even as she stepped out the door, avoiding stray gazes. She rubbed her forehead, which carried a leather pad beneath her hairline with three black lines entering the center like a star and a half-circle over it, wiping away any sweat. At first, she thought that it could’ve been worst until she, by instinct, held open a door for a passerby. He gave her his thanks, and she grew an extra couple of inches unnoticeable to all but the most observant.

She blushed, brushing her white hair with her gray hand-paw as she stepped away, avoiding another chance for yet another compliment.

Though it would’ve been an odd sight to see an eight-foot-two anthro walking down the street, it was almost unusual in a universe like this. After all, this city alone has a Mightyena with an average height of thirteen feet but could store her energy so she could grow beyond it. In fact, just last week, she grew so large that she stuffed the entire world into her cleavage with room to spare. And there was another anthro, a Leafeon with big breasts with the ability to grow larger and bustier the longer she soaked in the sun. Even discounting them and others within this world, there were demi-deities in space who could play with galaxies as though they were sand. And even they get overshadowed by the three true deities, goddesses, who at minimal could lay on entire universes as though they were bean bag seats, with one of them boundless in her power. Compared to all of that, Kyra seemed underwhelming with the only thing that stuck her out was her species, with Kyrathane unknown in this universe.

But the truth was that she was a goddess in tier with the three (more like two), but she didn’t want to be. She wanted to be plain, simple Kyra before her ascension. Yet, despite pleading with her fellow Kyrathane in her original universe, they refused to not worship her, which was why she left. And, for a while, she got what she wanted.

At least, until a nosy roommate figured out her ‘little’ secret.

Kyra sighed at the thought before she got to her car, a plain white one. Part of her wondered if she should walk home instead, but she shook the idea out of her head. Besides, this vehicle already proved that it could carry far larger So, she readjusted the seat before she got in, the car sinking down low from her mass. Then, she started the car with a turn of her key and drove out of the parking lot.

#

A half-hour of driving through traffic later, Kyra drove up to the apartment complex’s parking lot, stopping in her designated parking spot. She hopped out of her car, with it bouncing a bit as though in relief, before she walked inside the main entrance, lowering her head from the doorframe. Ahead there was a pair of elevators, but she thought about it for a second before she shook her head and instead headed towards the stairs.

She smiled to herself, the stairway all to herself as she climbed up to the third floor. Once she arrived, she slipped into the hallway and walked down until she got to her apartment number, 324, stopping just before it. Then, pulling out her keys once more, she inserted it and opened the door, stepping through. The door missed her tails as she shut it, hanging the keys beside it, and she stood in the living room for a couple of seconds. Then, with a relieved sigh, she stepped through, only pausing when she saw a bit of purple.

In the kitchenette, her back to Kyra was Ame the anthro Lycanroc. Her limbs, stretched unnaturally long, splayed from the wooden chair as she bent down low against her drawing tablet. Her stylus made scraping noises as she drew, her purple arms moving slightly. Her purple tail, far longer than her height of eight-foot-two, curled up behind her even as the butt and thighs sank outside from the chair seat, with her legs becoming white down the thighs. Her long white hair, reaching down to her tail, swayed a bit even as her purple ears, tipped in black, twitched. But she kept on drawing her digital artwork even as Kyra nodded to herself and stepped into the bedroom.

At once, she removed her suit off from herself, her mind still exhausted from the series of meetings. For a moment, outside of her white undergarments, she only wore her bands, with her left wrist and right ankle having a simple band with a green gem and her right wrist and left ankle having a black crisscross band. But then she threw on her green shirt and blue shorts, with her elbow and knee leather padding exposed, and she flopped onto her bed.

“Suffered and survived another long day?” A teasing voice asked and, when Kyra turned to the door, Ame leaned against the doorway, her sunny yellow shirt and blue shorts several times too small to fit her curves.

“Yeah, barely,” Kyra said as she pushed herself back up, rubbing the back of her head. “Even as an acting BA, it’s still rough to act as a ‘translator’ between businessmen and programmers.”

“But I can see that you did a good job,” Ame said while winking, with a yellow line, half-circle, and a pair of dots under and over her right and left, respectively. “But other than that, how was work?”

“It went well.” Kyra shuffled a bit in her bed before sitting on it even as Ame smirked at her. “Just the usual. Also, I chatted with your cousin for a bit. He was in a cheerful mood throughout.”

“Of course, Benock is. After all, he just married Skögul.” Ame stepped into the bedroom and pulled Kyra off from the bed. “And I’m sure that it’ll be a happy marriage, and I don’t mean that she is a thirteen feet tall Mightyena built like a truck. You know her gift to him last week, right?”

“More like a gift to the world,” Kyra said, with Ame giggling before setting her on the couch instead. She leaned back, showing more of the green symbol, a line with a circle at the center and a crescent above and below it, just below her neck. “So, any reason why you dragged me here out from my bed?”

Ame giggled, her yellow symbols on her face and belly, with one just under her breasts, a line, a half-circle, and three dots as though it was a sunrise, and an upside-down of that just under her belly button, glowing a bit brighter. In response, Kyra’s green symbol glowed a bit brighter as well, even as Ame stepped outside of the living room. Then, a few seconds later, she stepped back in, her arms behind her back, before she revealed a box of chocolate.

“Huh?” Kyra’s ears flinched as she accepted the chocolate box, with hers and Ame’s breasts swelling a couple of inches larger. “You didn’t have to do that, you know?”

“I know.” Ame giggled as she sat down next to Kyra, who ate through the chocolate candies in one go. “But I’ve been waiting for a chance in case you came back home exhausted. After all, I’m here to help you unwind.”

“Um, thank you,” Kyra said as her left ear flattened to the side, putting the empty box onto the low table in front of them.

“No need. After all, I should be thanking you~!” Ame said while laying her long arm over Kyra’s shoulders, their bodies growing a few inches taller. “Do you remember that time a couple of months ago where we grew so large that I could carry the sun? That was an awesome time. I can’t thank you enough!”

“Y-you’re welcome,” Kyra said even as she blushed, the two already at nine feet tall even as she guessed what Ame was really plotting. “s-still took me a c-couple of hours to repair the d-damages and remove all the p-people’s memories of the event.”

“Yup~!” And that was the next best thing that happened that day.” Ame tugged Kyra close. “And you know why, right?”

“I-I don’t know.” Kyra blushed some more. “P-please stop—”

“It means that we can do it all over again~!” Ame’s yellow eyes winked, and she stuck out her tongue. “All thanks to you!” The couch groaned against their increasing sizes. “After all, you created a link between us a year and a half ago.”

“T-that was an accident!” Kyra hid her red face, her gray fur sticking up. “I-I just wanted to make you taller, to s-seven feet tall, as you r-requested—”

“Even so, it was a wonderful accident!” The couch beneath them creaked some more, and Ame giggled. “I’m like a shadow to your body, Kyra. A reflection. Which was why I was so happy that you got me these gifts.” She pointed at her simple bands, wrapped around her right wrist and left ankle, with blue and pink gems on them. “And I’m glad that you’re wearing my gift to you.” She showed her left wrist, which, along with her right ankle, had black crisscross bands, though the wrist one extended up to her middle finger as a ring. “We are like mirrors of each other! Thank you so much~!”

Kyra winced, the two growing to ten feet tall with the couch popping and cracking beneath them and the low table getting pushed forward by their legs. “Y-you’re welcome. C-could you please s-stop—”

“Aww, why not?” Ame giggled as she booped Kyra’s nose. “I just wanted to show you some love~!”

Kyra’s face turned redder, the two already reaching up to twelve feet tall, with their hair brushing against the ceiling and the couch’s springs and stuffing pouring out. “Because I’m not in the mood.”

“Don’t worry,” Ame said as she pulled Kyra close, a grin on her face. “I’m just making this day exciting for the both of us~! So, I’m giving you all of my love~!”

Soon, their heads slammed against the ceiling, with a thudding sound heard throughout the building. At once, an alarm broke out, and a fury of steps came from all around. Kyra gasped, her head breaking into the room above, her green eyes wide. But there was no one there, and she sighed in relief. She pulled herself out, only for Ame to pin her to the floor, her shoulder crushing the low table into splinters, even as Ame grinned.

“Want to wrestle?” Ame asked in a teasing tone while winking. “Though I may have an unfair advantage. But I will try not to abuse it, especially since I like you oh so very much~!”

The floor beneath them groaned against their combined weight, with Ame giggling even as Kyra winced some more. Her head brushed against the window, with her head bigger than it, even as Ame pressed against the ceiling. Soon, it crashed down on top of them, but it felt more like plastic balls rather than wood and concrete. Kyra’s ears flattened back; their chests pressed against each other even as their symbols glowed brighter.

“Ame!” Kyra said, trying to push Ame off. “This is not—”

“Oh, but it is a perfect time.” Ame booped her nose once more. “And what better way to unwind than to grow? And to grow, you need all the love you can get~!”

At the end of her sentence, the floor beneath them broke, and they fell down, crashing through the apartment. They spun a bit, rolling out of the apartment’s walls and into the parking lot, ending with Kyra on top of Ame. She gasped, with Ame’s head resting on top of Kyra’s flattened car.

“Now, look what you did!” Kyra’s ears flattened back. “I really love that car.”

“Eh, you can fix it when we’re done,” Ame said with a wink. “Besides, I think that there’s more stuff for you to worry about than just a crushed car.”

Kyra blinked as she lifted her head, with her eyes widening. Hundreds of anthros stepped outside, confused by the noises and destruction, before staring at the thirty-foot-tall ladies on each other. Sirens came from all around, their journey to the apartment halted by the growing crowd, and she blushed brighter. She got up, followed by Ame, with both a tad taller than the apartment.

“T-try to keep calm, everyone!” Kyra said, her palms pointed outwards. “We’re not here to harm you!”

Ame giggled some more, singing her arm over Kyra’s shoulders once more while extending a pair of fingers in a peace symbol. It was a bizarre sight even for a city like this, seeing a couple of giants growing in sync with each other. And yet, despite what Kyra said, they seemed more curious than fearful of them.

“As if there was a destructive kind in a world like this,” Ame said, brushing her cheek against Kyra’s. “Outside of that Ninetales, but that’s part of her job: testing building integrity.” She then winked. “Of course, this gives me a good idea~!”

“Oh, no,” Kyra said, her green eyes wide as her face turned bright red. “Please don’t—”

“Citizens of this city!” Ame spread her arms out wide, her voice heard for hundreds of miles. “Give my best girl in the entire universe, Kyra, all the love you can give! In return, she will grant you all of your blessings!”

“NO!”

But at that moment, Kyra and Ame shot up in size, growing bigger by the second. The apartment, which their heads reached, already went below their waist fifteen seconds later. Ame laughed loud with every ten feet she grew even as Kyra sweated a lot, hoping to herself that, with these people seeing two growing macros, they would stop showering her with love and worship. Yet, the opposite seemed to happen instead, with them growing even faster. Within a minute, the two already surpassed the tallest building in the city at three hundred feet. Kyra blinked, feeling the unharmed people rubbing against her feet-paws.

“OK! OK!” Kyra covered her face once more. “You can st—”

“Don’t stop!” Ame’s voice overshadowed her, with her pulling Kyra closer as her grip tightened. “Give her loads more love and worship!”

Kyra let out an eep even as the two kept on growing, with a quarter of the city soon underneath their feet-paws. She let go of her face, feeling the clouds rubbing against her cheeks even as Ame pulled her away, the two still growing. Her tails puffed up massively, with Ame’s lone tail wrapped around her four. Yet, even after all of that growth, the only visible damages to the city were the apartment itself.

All thanks to the power of the goddess Kyra herself.

“Isn’t this fun~?” Ame said, with the two reaching over to a mountain, which was more like a hill to them.

“It-it isn’t!” Kyra panted, lying back against the mountainside even as Ame rubbed her belly. “P-please stop! I hate being worshipped!”

“That’s one of the more honest things you said,” Ame said with a wink. “Still, I think you should be more open about what you want.”

“Huh?” But Kyra winced, still growing with the mountain underneath her harder to lay on. Soon, even she couldn’t hide that the two surpassed its height of 10,000 feet even by laying down. “T-this isn’t fun! Stop telling people to worship me!”

Ame rubbed her chin, her yellow eyes gleaming in the sun. A slight grin formed on her face before she nodded. “OK. I won’t tell any more people today to offer you love and worship.”

“Huh?” Kyra tilted her head a bit. “You mean it?”

“Yup! You can trust me on this!” Ame flexed her fingers a bit, popping them before she stretched her legs. “Now then, I’ll see what’s going on at the other end of this continent. Just relax right here.”

“And you won’t tell.”

“I won’t.”

Kyra’s ears flattened back a bit in doubt before she nodded. And Ame grinned wide as she stepped away, her paw-feet making thunderous sounds when impacting the ground, her tail and hair swaying fast. Kyra sighed, the two still growing but much slower than before. She lay down to the side, feeling overwhelmed by the last fifteen minutes. Even as she began to relax, she had already plotted out a plan to repair any damages and remove any memory of this event.

But Ame’s grin only grew wider as she walked, her hips swaying. And once she traveled three hundred miles, a short distance to a macro her size, she picked up a large tree and sharpened one end with her claws. Then, with a log pencil in hand, she drew upon an image of Kyra’s face on the ground, facing it to a nearby city, while adding in Kyra’s name and a heart. She then walked some distance to another city and, getting to a mountainside, she extended her claws to make the same drawing.

She repeated this pattern for every other mountain or field she went to, her grin only growing wider. And, soon enough, her slow growth quickened once again, with the log pencil already too small to hold. Her head broke through cloud layer after cloud layer, growing to 100,000 feet when she spotted the moon. Her heartbeat quickened, and, bending her knees low, she leaped into the sky, swaying her tail like a propeller. Soon enough, she reached it, with the moon still so much more massive than her, and she extended her claws.

Below, Kyra blinked at her sudden upsurge in size, the mountain she lay on already nothing more than an anthill to her. She rolled herself up, blushing once more before her head turned hot, wondering if Ame lied to her. She felt a bit of rage at this betrayal when she turned up, spotting Ame drawing on the moon.

“AME!” Kyra jumped off the earth and floated to her, her ears flattened back even as Ame giggled. “You lying little—”

“Hey, I didn’t tell these people to love you,” Ame said with a wink, booping Kyra’s nose while sticking her tongue out. “They did it all on their own. All I did was draw some pictures of you.”

“Th-You know what I meant!” Kyra fumed a bit, with Ame finishing her drawing of Kyra’s face even as the two kept on growing. Soon, she already grew more massive than the earth itself as she floated back, sitting on it. Finally, she sighed, making sure she didn’t destroy it thanks to her powers. “I just wanted to relax after a hard day of work!”

“Hey, this is relaxing~!” Ame followed Kyra back to earth, carrying the moon on her chest for the moment. “And so much fun too. And I bet that, after seeing the moon, the entire world would soon know about you.”

“I doubt that everyone will know. At least, not without social media to share such images online—” was all Kyra could say before she and Ame exploded in size once more, the earth nothing more than the golf ball. She yelped as she floated off, cursing herself for underestimating how fast information traveled, as Ame grabbed the world as well. She winked as she reached up to Kyra, and, tugging her green shirt out, she stuffed both earth and moon into it. “Wh-what are you doing?”

“Why I’m just giving your worshippers what they want,” Ame answered with a laugh, letting go of Kyra’s shirt even as she felt both planet and moon against her chest. “And I’m sure you’ll be showered with even more love~!”

“Oh, no.” Kyra blushed even deeper. “Please, stop—”

But then the two grew even faster, with them reaching from Mars to Venus within a minute of growing. The two approached the sun, still overwhelmingly massive, yet it seemed to be shrinking to the two of them. By the time they got to it, they were its size, with Ame rubbing against it.

“I must say,” Ame said with a teasing tone, “the sun felt so gooey like this~!”

“I-I bet it does,” Kyra said, the two growing faster with every second. Soon, the sun became nothing more than a baseball to Ame, who squeezed it a bit before she stuffed it against her chest while laughing. Next, planets and asteroids collided against her furs, with the gas ones dissipating against them. Soon enough, they became as large as the solar system itself. Kyra panted a bit, her face red. “I-I think it’s over.”

“It’s not over until it is over~!” Kyra turned to Ame, blinking as Ame plucked stars from all over. She then rearranged them into a new kind of orbit, showing it off while grinning even wider. Kyra’s ears flattened back, eyes widened in horror as she realized what Ame created. But Ame laughed, holding up a three-dimensional image of Kyra made out of stars. “I wonder how many extraterrestrials will notice, and how many will give you love?” She winked. “Perhaps even some of the demi-deities will shower you with love~!”

“Oh, please don’t,” Kyra said with a small voice, yet the two exploded in size once more, with Ame’s hips pushing back against countless stars without moving. Kyra’s tail wiggled a bit, knocking back stars from behind before she grabbed them and stopped them. She blushed some more, the two spotting the entire galaxy with all of its glory. Yet, they kept growing, with countless stars getting pulled to them instead. Finally, Ame reached over to the Milky Way, and, in a few strokes, she drew an image of Kyra’s face at the center. “Stop that!”

“Too late~!”

Their growth, impossibly fast, grew even quicker, outgrowing countless galaxies within seconds. Ame giggled some more, her tail wagging fast even as Kyra panted some more, her ears flattened back. Soon, they rubbed against the very fabric of the universe itself. Kyra turned all around them, spotting countless universes, all with various colors around them. Their feet-paws pressed against each other, their toes curled over one another, even as Ame giggled some more.

“Guess what? I didn’t tell anyone, and we still grew to such heights. I still won’t,” Ame said with a wink. “Otherwise, we might break out from this universe~! In fact, hmm.”

Kyra gulped, realizing the close call that they nearly did. If only Ame knew what it would mean if one could outgrow the universe, Kyra thought. But then she blinked as Ame extended her claws to the universe’s fabric. It only rubbed against it when Kyra grabbed it and tugged it away. “That’s far enough!”

Ame giggled some more, sticking her tongue out. “What’s wrong? Don’t want love from the other universes as well? Afraid that we might attract Kyth’s and Kthaarae’s attention? Though I’m sure that Ynaa already knew about th—”

Kyra’s face turned red. “I swear that you never listen to me.”

“Oh, what do you mean?” Ame said in the most angelic tone possible. “If you’re talking about being a goddess hiding as a mortal, don’t worry. I’m sure that, by tomorrow, everything will be back to normal.” She winked. “And everyone will forget about it, except in their dreams, once you use your powers on them, which will be the next best thing. And you know why?” Kyra frowned. “It’s because we can do this all over again~!”

“Amethine,” Kyra said, her tone serious. “Let me make this perfectly clear. I left my home, my family, to avoid stuff like this. I didn’t love it then, and I still don’t love it now.” Her eyes narrowed. “I don’t want this kind of love. I don’t want to be worshipped. I don’t want to rule over others. I don’t want to even tease others. I just want to be plain, simple Kyra, who has a day job at a programming company. I want to be a piece of the world, not have the world revolve around me!’ Kyra shook her head. “Why can’t you understand?”

Kyra crossed her arms as she turned to the side, watching the clouds of universes outside of this one. She wondered if, among the clouds, was her home, and her ears flopped forward. She felt a hand-paw on her shoulder and, when she turned back, Ame pressed her nose against her own.

“You never said that you didn’t want to be big or that you didn’t like it,” Ame said, with Kyra blinking. “And you didn’t say that you didn’t want to grow.”

Kyra stammered a bit, feeling a loss of words. The two giants, Kyrathane and Lycanroc, stared at the other like reflections of each other, or, perhaps closer to the truth, like persona and shadow. For a moment, their feet-paws curled over on top of the other, unable to let go. Then, at once, Kyra sighed, and her ears flattened to the sides.

“Sometimes,” Kyra said with a headshake, but she couldn’t prevent herself from smiling. “I just hate you.”

“Awww. Love you too~!” Ame said with a giggle, sticking her tongue out. Yet, the two didn’t grow much bigger than before. She reached over and booped Kyra’s nose once more.

Perhaps this life was a lot more hectic than intended, Kyra thought to herself. But it wouldn’t be as good without her.

This month has been a macro story month, hasn't it? XD

In any case, here we have a pair of macros, Kyra and Ame, who are linked in a way that, as Kyra grows, so does Ame. And Ame loves to grow while Kyra isn't as openly eager. This is just one of the tales where Ame got Kyra them to grow through her growth trigger. XP

I admit that this is a fun story to write. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I couldn't post this yesterday since it was B424's birthday. Eh, a day late isn't too bad. XP

In any case, enjoy!
