Their Furry Fate

Written by JustParodiezMan, CorbynPrower and FoxGamer01.

Corbyn: On a sunny, Saturday morning, Corbyn woke up and got dressed quickly as this was the day he was going on the new cruise ship that was going to sail today. He had won his tickets in some small contest from his local store; he would never have the money to be on a cruise ship like this. So, after finishing his breakfast and having a shower, he rushed out the door and went to the docks to board the ship. As he got there he saw a group of other people there; seeing some high class people and a bunch of others. He was not normally a social type of person, he mostly kept to himself, so he waited for his turn to board the ship and get in quietly.

Daren: Meanwhile, just several people behind Corbyn, stood a blonde-haired guy known as Daren. He fiddled with his ticket, which he got for free from a friend who was too busy to go on the cruise himself, as he looked around people surrounded Daren at every turn, causing him to cringe since he was not used to being in a huge crowd. He sighed, thinking of his sister (who hated being in a crowd even more than Daren) and wondered how she would react to all of this, as he stepped onto the ship itself.

Justin: Justin sat in a chair watching the people climb onto the cruise ship, wondering when the ship was going to leave. Justin had got his ticket from his Aunt, who had told Justin it was a chance he shouldn't miss. Justin was quite a nice boy, but like Corbyn he didn't talk much unless people talked to him as well. Justin was interested in many things, but the one thing he loved was writing, drawing interesting art coming a close second. He wondered who the two boys were who had arrived on the ship and raised his sunglasses off his head for a moment to see them better. He decided, then and there, that these two boys were an interesting target to try and play with.

Corbyn: Corbyn got himself on the boat and started to wonder where the cabins were. He should have read the map more, but he didn't have time to do that for a long while. He sighed and started to walk to the right and inside the deck to find a map of the ship. He was getting quite tired from carrying his luggage all the way to the docks. As he was walking by he noticed two others that caught his eye, but he didn't pay much attention to them as he looked for the cabins.

Daren: Daren broke away from the crowds as soon as he could, his chest going in and out at a fast pace. He leant onto a wall as he looked at the big blue sea and caught his breath. Once he felt relaxed, he looked around and saw two other youths nearby. He looked at them for a while before shrugging and, opening a map of the ship he printed out from the internet, he went to find his room. He took one final look at the others before walking away toward his room.

Justin: Justin lazily turned on his hammock in his room and heard the horn of the ship as it finally left the port. "Finally! I was wondering if this darn ship was EVER going to leave." He complained to himself. After a few minutes he decided to go and have a swim in the pool on the top deck of the cruise ship. After getting his clothes together and a towel to dry himself with, he placed them into a bag and stepped out of the door, only to end up banging straight into two other boys.

Corbyn: Corbyn was going to the cabins after he got lucky with directions; he got in the room and put all his stuff in there and then started to look around the ship. He heard that the ship had almost anything on it, which made him quite excited. But once again he got lost on the decks and started to wonder about seeing the main hall and all sort of other rooms. He also found himself at the pool on the top deck, but he wasn't much in a swimming mood. So he went back into the main hall.

"They got to have elevators or something around here, but I just can't find them. . . ." Corbyn sadly said to himself. He wasn't watching where he was going, causing him to bump into two others.

Daren: Daren; after finding his room, placed his stuff in there and left, carrying only his bag in his hand. He sighed and pulled out an old book. He read a few pages of the book before bumping into two others guys.

"Oh. Sorry," Daren said as he looked at them.

Justin: "No, it's ok. It's my fault. I shoulda been more focused on where I was going." Justin replied, rubbing his head a bit. "Who are you guys? You look like you could use a friend. I'm Justin Hunt." He put his hand out to shake their hands.

Corbyn: "My name is Corbyn J. Prower. Well, Corbyn's just what I prefer to be called," Corbyn said quietly as he was kinda shy and shook Justin's hand.

"And nice to meet you too, other person," Corbyn said as he waved to him softly and looked around the room softly.

Daren: "The name's Daren. Daren Volpe," Daren said, looking around and feeling shy. He's not used to awkward meetings. "Well, this is an interesting meeting, isn't it?"

Justin: Justin was about to agree when there was a sudden lurch on the ship. The three of them struggled a bit to stay up and held onto what they could. What none of them noticed, though, was that there was now not a single person making any noise near where they were. Although Justin did think it was mildly quiet, he figured it could just be that everyone was on deck enjoying themselves. "I know guys, what say we go for a swim? Maybe we can get to know each other more that way?" Justin asked.

Corbyn: "I guess that will be a good idea," Corbyn said as he tried to give a nice smile. Remembering where the pool area was, he led them to the main deck. He then put his towel where he claimed a seat. He then sat at the side of the pool, not going near the water for some reason. He kinda didn't really feel like telling anyone the reason why he didn't like the water too much.

Daren: Daren removed his shoes and socks and put his feet in the pool. The water felt cool, though he felt that something was . . . odd. He looked around the area and realized something. "Where is everyone?"

Justin: Justin looked around as well and noticed Daren had a point. There wasn't a single person in sight, except for the three of them. He stood up and looked towards the 'brig' of the ship, where the whole ship was controlled. His heart almost stopped when he saw, with fear in his eyes, that no-one was at the helm either. "Something really bad has happened here guys... No-one is controlling the ship anymore. We're the only ones on board!" He cried, looking at the other two desperately.

Corbyn: "But . . . but that's impossible! There was plenty of people on board when we first came on to the ship wasn't there? Maybe something has happened to them, and besides doesn't the ship have one of those high tech computer thingies to control the ship when no one is at the wheel? Come to think of it isn't the whole ship operated by computers?" Corbyn asked, looking to the two boys. "Also they might be in the main hall for some big opening that we aren't there for." Or at worst maybe someone high jacked the ship or something but that clearly showed Corbyn watched too much TV and movies.

Daren: "I would expect that, with technological advances of today that this ship is definitely running on computers. However, I also expect it needs to be maintained by people in order to prevent it from crashing into other ships," Daren pointed out as he skimmed the surrounding area. "And, if there was any big party on this ship, wouldn't we hear of it when we got on?"

Justin: Justin nodded. "Daren has a point Corbyn. They'd have an announcement loud enough for the whole ship to hear if there was a party, and if that was the case, the captain still would be at the helm with a few people to make sure the controls didn't malfunction. It's like they disappeared into thin air. But there's something else, did anyone feel that bump earlier? Like we hit something hard, yet there's clearly no signs of-" Without warning Justin was suddenly thrown backwards into the pool by something that sparkled madly. Corbyn and Daren hadn't seen it though, but they were still astonished at what happened to their new friend.

Corbyn: "Oh no! Justin's fallen in!" Corbyn was scared, but he had to save his new friend. As he jumped in and grabbed Justin before he went under the water, the same sparkle that forced Justin into the pool wiggled onto Corbyn's hands as well. Corbyn called to Daren for help. "Could you help out please?"

Daren: Daren's rusty red eyes widened with shock, seeing Justin falling into the pool and Corbyn following him. Daren heard Corbyn cry for help. "OK!"

Daren leapt into the pool and swam to the others. He placed Justin's arm over his shoulder in an attempt to help. As Daren and Corbyn carried Justin out of the pool, the sparkle whammed Daren in the back. "OW! What the heck?"

Justin: Justin coughed up some water and rubbed his neck a bit, since he felt it wham against the side when he was thrown in. "Did any-one see what pushed me in?" He asked, and then he slapped his head stupidly. "Ugh I'm an idiot sometimes. THANK YOU guys! I should've said that first. Thank you so much for saving my life. I owe you." What Justin didn't notice, though, was at that moment he had started to turn reddish-brown on his face. He couldn't feel it or see it, but the others certainly could see it.

Corbyn: Corbyn was just happy to be saved from the water, as he started to say his 'thank you's to Daren as well. "Thank you Daren, I wouldn't know what to do if you hadn't saved the both of us." Corbyn suddenly noticed something on Justin's face and wondered what it was. "Hmm, Justin there seems to be something on your face," He told Justin. Corbyn tried to rub it off, but the more he rubbed the more it felt like proper animal nose texture and Corbyn jumped back a little. "That wasn't real, was it? But it kinda felt like it. . . ." He whispered to himself.

Daren: Daren ears perked when he heard Corbyn thank him. But wasn't Corbyn here to save Justin too? . . . So what did Corbyn mean by that? "Um, you're welcome." Daren looked at Corbyn rubbing Justin's face and his eyebrow rose. Daren's eyes then saw that something was on Justin's face as well and it wasn't coming off. "What's on your face, Justin?"

Justin: Justin had no idea what was wrong with Corbyn and Daren and, for a moment, thought that Corbyn was going crazy after rubbing at his nose like that, "Get outta it Corbyn, you silly billy! What on earth is wrong with you two? You're acting like I'm changing into something scary." Bizarrely enough, as Justin said that, his face got so furry that the face they both recognized as Justin couldn't be seen. In fact, they both stared at the face of a red squirrel, with Justin's blue eyes. Justin had still not felt anything but suddenly had an odd craving for nuts. "Hey, this may sound odd but do either of you have any nuts I can nibble on?" He asked kindly.

Corbyn: Corbyn couldn't believe this. He must be dreaming all of this, that had to be it; there had to be no other way to explain it. "Umm well Justin sadly I got no nuts on me buddy." Corbyn told Justin, trying to act normal and give a smile the best he could; he turned to Daren and wondered what he was thinking about all that was going on. Since he had no clue on what was going on, Corbyn could only guess it was just his imagination. But he had to prove it. "Uh, Daren? Do you see what I'm seeing with Justin?" He whispered to Daren.

Daren: Daren stared at Justin's face, confused. A change like that should have been painful, but he didn't seem to notice that anything was wrong. "Yeah Corbyn, I'm seeing it too." Daren whispered back.

Daren's eyes then caught something furry on Corbyn's cheek, causing his eyes to widen. "Corbyn, it's happening to you too!"

Justin: Justin rolled his eyes. "You guys are going bonkers. Here we are, on an abandoned cruise ship, in the middle of the ocean, and you're worried about something I have on my fa-" Justin froze still when he suddenly felt something pushing at his shirt. Under his shirt, bristles of tough fur started to push out and cause Justin to feel hotter and, strangely enough, smaller as well. Justin pulled his shirt off and looked down. "Gah! Wh-what's happening? Why am I suddenly so furry?!" He stared at Daren and Corbyn for help but noticed Corbyn was changing as well. "Oh... Oh no! This is not good."

Corbyn: Corbyn started to watch as Justin changed more which was scaring Corbyn slightly. He then heard Daren start to say that something was now starting to happen to HIM, which he didn't want to believe at first. Beside it was only Daren saying that, wasn't it? "And I don't know what is happening to you, Justin. I wish I knew myself. I don't know how to help you out." Corbyn admitted.

Daren: Daren fell to his knees, shocked by how his friends were changing right in front of him. How was this happening? Daren shook his head and thought to himself for a while whilst rubbing his face-

He froze. He rubbed his face more, hoping that he had imagined it. But he didn't. There was grey fur growing on his face. His wide eyes had just gotten even wider. "What – The - Hell is happening?!"

Justin: Justin tried to answer Daren but only managed a strange squeak, which reminded him of the same noise a squirrel made. Justin looked down at his hands and his stomach again, wondering if anything else had changed. It had. Now he stared at two paws instead of hands and tried to push at his arms to see if they were real. He couldn't understand what was going on but he felt it was something important. His pants fell to the ground in a clump as the fur continued to spread. He tried to say "Corbyn, Daren! I think we're changing into animals!" But there was just no point. He could only speak like a squirrel now.

Corbyn: Corbyn looked on at Justin, who was almost fully changed by now, and Corbyn could only gape at how Daren and himself were starting to grow fur on their faces. Daren's fur seemed to be grey for now, but he couldn't tell what was happening to himself. He didn't want to believe it but he had no choice. He was quite scared and just wanted all this to be some bad dream, but it was as real as it got. As he rubbed at the fur it started to slowly spread more on his face. He wanted to comfort Daren from how bad he was breaking down, but even he was quite speechless about the whole thing and didn't know how to comfort him.

Daren: Daren's chest was going in and out at a rapid pace. His mind wasn't thinking straight. He uncovered his face, only to look down to a grey and black muzzle. His jaw hung down as he felt something was itching underneath his shirt. He looked under it and saw grey and black fur with a bit of brown on his chest. He fell down to his side, shivering even though he wasn't cold. He looked up at Corbyn and Justin and saw just how far they were changing. He then slowly got up, but he lost his balance and fell to his knees. He looked at his feet and saw that they were changing and shrinking, making it impossible to walk on two legs now. So, instead, he got to his hands and knees and crawled to Justin.

Justin: Justin buckled down and was now the size of a squirrel, his whole body, aside from his bottom and his 2 feet, had been completely squirrel-fied. His two knees folded up painfully until they were bent in a strange shape and he crawled out of his clothes carefully. "Well, at least I wasn't completely naked in front of my friends while this happened." Justin thought to himself, relieved. His bushy tail fluffed out and tickled his head softly and, for the first time since the change started, Justin actually felt happy about becoming a squirrel. He saw Daren coming towards him on all fours and wondered what he was doing. Daren certainly looked like a raccoon, but Justin couldn't tell for sure, having not seen raccoons before.

Corbyn: Corbyn looked at the squirrel and the soon to be raccoon and he crawled over to the two and went to hug them close to him. He was really scared; maybe they were all scared with him? He had no one to turn to for support, just his new friends. As he held them close he started to cry softly, tears going down his furry cheeks. "I'm so scared guys. I'm just so confused and scared, I'm sorry I can't hold it back." He whimpered between sobs .He was always known to be the one who cried easily from his friends and when he was little he was picked on for that all the time but none of that mattered at that moment. All he wanted was others by his side.

Daren: Daren looked at Justin and said (in animal language), "Are you OK?"

Justin: Justin nodded. "I'm fine, Daren. Corbyn, everything will be ok. I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason why we are now forest animals." He went over and hugged his new friend, simply trying to make Corbyn feel happier with friends around. It was interesting that at that moment, a strange sparkling form appeared in front of the three boys and swirled around until the face of a young girl could be seen through the magic dust. The boys stared in amazement and slight fear. What was that thing? "Do not be afraid, my three new friends. I am simply here to make you understand why I have changed you into little creatures of the forest." She spotted Corbyn, who hadn't actually fully changed. "Now that's strange, you should be finished by now." The sparkling girl spirit tickled Corby happily, trying to finish the spell.

Corbyn: Corbyn started to rub his eyes more as he saw the sparkles starting to turn into a girl and he looked at the girl in front of them, relieved for some reason once he looked at her beauty. "I don't know why I'm not fully changed yet." He whispered to her softly as he still held to his friends. That's when he felt the spirit starting to flow all around him and his fur started to grow out more...as he started to get covered by his oversized clothes and shrunk to the same size as his new friends. "Eeep!" he whimpered slightly.

Daren: Daren stared at the sparkling girl, tilting his head to his side. "Excuse me for asking, but why did you change us in the first place? In fact, did you have something to do with everyone else disappearing?"

Justin: The sparkling girl nodded sadly. "I'm afraid I did change you, boys. But I assure you I had nothing to do with anyone's disappearance. In fact, it was the evil that haunts me that did that. The evil only known as Dormra Of The Dark. It was he who took all the humans on this vessel and changed them into mindless, enslaved animals. That is why I changed you three into animals you see? So you could help them escape without being noticed and also help me defeat Dormra. I need your help as much as you need mine. Will you please help me?"

Corbyn: Corbyn looked at the lady as he started to crawl out of his clothes, now just as a simple mouse. He could feel her feelings in her words and he knew they were true.

"Alright, my lady, We will save the people and stop this evil Dormra from taking over your and our worlds." Corbyn announced with confidence in his voice. He was ready for his mission that was handed to them, whether he was a mouse or not.

Daren: Daren looked at the lady and, while he was still confused on what had happened, he sensed no lies in her voice. He nodded. "Sure. I'll help you with the best of my abilities. What is your name, by the way?"

Justin: The spirit lady bowed to Daren gently. "My name is Sarah Shadow-daughter. Through my magic you have changed into animals to help both our worlds, and only through my magic can you return to your proper human forms. I'm so glad you can help me out, it will mean so much."

Justin nodded in agreement. "We will be glad to help you Sarah. But how will you take us to your world?"

Sarah smiled. "Like this..." she drew a spiralling circle in the air with her index finger and it floated towards the boys and, without much warning but with a strange sense of floating, the boys suddenly found themselves standing on grassy ground and staring at a very big castle. Sarah had gone but her echoing voice urged them forward. "Find courage, my new friends. Save both our worlds, and always remember to work together."

Corbyn: Corbyn looked up to the castle and shivered. "Well here we are. I guess now we have to find a way to get into the castle, but how..." Corbyn started to think of the possibilities."Well I have two ideas: one of us slips inside and tries to open it from the inside or we somehow act like we're brainwashed but without an escort that would be a plan ready to fail most likely." He murmured.

Daren: Daren looked at the castle and shivered a bit. The castle looked very intimidating, though he understood that they would have to sneak in somehow. He swallowed and his heart was lifted up, filled with courage. "I agree, Corbyn."

Justin: Justin thought on what his friends had said. "We have to do something guys. But what?" At that moment, they heard grunting and crying coming towards them and Justin gasped in shock and misery. "Oh no! Look! Those are all the people from the ship! Sarah was right; they've been changed into animals as well. They're being used as slaves to pull that strange man's cart. I bet he's Dormra." Justin gulped when he realised the slaves and Dormra were headed right towards the boys. "We've gotta hide!"

Corbyn: Corbyn's ears twitched in fear. "You think? Come on lets hide! Daren, you go into the bushes and Justin you would be most fitting in the tree and I'll hide in the bushes as well." Corbyn said as he ran into the bushes hardly making a single sound. He waited there for everyone else to get into a hiding spot. Then Corbyn's instinct started to tell him maybe that wasn't the best hiding spot. As he looked around he saw a hole at the base of a tree and went to hide inside it.

Daren: Daren looked around and dived into the bushes quietly and held his tail closely. He shivered as he listened to the crying and the marching, making his eyes swell up. He hoped that his friends would be alright in their hiding place.

Justin: Justin watched from high in the tree as the army of enslaved people turned animals groaned and pushed their way towards the castle. Below him he could only just see Corbyn and Daren in their places and hoped that Dormra couldn't sense them or see them.

"Halt now slaves!" Dormra ordered loudly. The slaves stopped in front of the castle gates and Justin heard a voice cry, "Lower the gates for the king Dormra!" This was their one and only chance to get in without being seen, Justin knew it. Somehow he had to get a message to Daren and Corbyn to get them to join the slaves before it was too late. But how?

Corbyn: Corbyn had the feeling this might have to be their only way in so, hoping the others wouldn't blow their cover, he ran to the cart and climbed on the end of it. "Well that was close." He sighed with relief, hoping the others would follow his lead.

Daren: Daren observed the cart as his heart pounded wildly. He then noticed Corbyn on it and, realizing his plan and without thinking, he hopped onto the cart. He sighed as he got onto Corbyn side. "OK. Now we need Justin to join us."

Justin: Justin almost yelped in excitement when he saw his friends had gotten onto the cart without being noticed. He signalled to them to clear the way and put something down to make his landing softer, which they saw. He jumped down quietly and quickly, landing on-top of a big, fancy pillow. No doubt one that Dormra used. Shaking his head a little, since he hated jumping from big heights, he winked at his friends and sighed. "Well, now all we have to do is wait until we're in the kingdom and then get off before anyone sees us. Then we can come up with another plan that can save those slaves."

Corbyn: Corbyn nodded. "Ya I get what you mean. Well we will just have to look around a little to find out where the slaves are being kept and how we are going to save them and stop Dormra." Corbyn whispered to his friends as he kept a lookout around where they were positioned at the moment. As Corbyn looked out he saw they were starting to move again as the trees were starting to pass by and it started to turn dark as they went inside the entrance to the castle.

Daren: Daren kept his head low, though he noticed the light faded away as they went into the castle entrance. He shivered some more as the place started to feel cold. He looked up and saw ice all around them. He grunted and rubbed his fur in an attempt to stay warm as he breathed white mist into the air. "I hope this is the only place where it's this cold. I can't stand cold areas."

Justin: Justin nodded in agreement. "Ok guys, I think we ought to hop out now. Quickly now." He leapt from the cart and dashed towards a stone pillar, hiding behind it and waiting for his friends to do the same. Justin noticed, just then, that there weren't just enslaved animals in the castle, but also birds and even some children as well. He almost screamed in terror when he saw that a dead squirrel's corpse was lying not far from where he was hiding, no doubt starved to death. "Hurry up guys!" he whispered desperately.

Corbyn: Corbyn heard Justin's call and he jumped out as well and dashed beside Justin waiting there until Daren made his way over to them. Corbyn was a little nervous that they were now inside the enemy's base.

Daren: Daren followed Corbyn and was by his friends' side in no time. He then saw the squirrel's dead body laying there, causing his face to twist into a revolting way. "That's sick. I can't believe he would do such of thing."

Justin: Justin sighed sadly and wiped a tear away. "Now we know that we have to be careful. Poor thing. Dormra obviously doesn't care. We should find a different place to hide so we aren't stari-" But Dormra's commanding voice interrupted Justin as the evil tyrant told the servants to stop and he walked to his throne in such a pompous way that Justin felt like puking. "He's a show-off murderer. We've DEFINITELY got to save those people now guys... only I don't know how. What do you say we follow the slaves to see where they are being kept?"

Corbyn: "Alright then, we better hurry and follow them, we got no time to waste!" Corbyn pointed out. He started to follow the slaves slowly and stealthily and hoped the other two were following him but he had no time to look back, he had to keep an eye on the slaves' path.

Daren: Daren shivered with fear and cold, but he followed Corbyn all the same. He wanted to tell Corbyn that he was there behind him, but he couldn't in fear of alerting Dormra. So, with heavy heart, he went on, hoping that Justin was there behind him.

Justin: Justin eagerly and quickly followed his friends; checking one last time on Dormra to make certain there was no doubt the evil king hadn't seen them. When he almost bumped into Daren and Corbyn, he sighed with relief and followed the slaves quietly. The slaves eventually came to prison cells that were guarded by a big badger, marking off each slave as they entered their cell. "This isn't good. That badger will know we aren't slaves if he has a list of the slaves they have. We got to think of another plan guys." He whispered to Daren and Corbyn.

Corbyn: "Hmm" Corbyn started to think what they could do as he turned back around. "I really can't think of anything at this moment to save the slaves. They seem to have this place locked down quite tight. Oh! I have an idea! One of us can distract him and Daren can look for the key since, well he is a raccoon and they have a habit of finding things."

Daren: "OK." Daren agreed. Daren's keen eyes looked at the table and saw a bunch of keys there on it. "I think I see them. . . . Yes I do! OK. Distract him while I get the keys, Justin."

Justin: Justin nodded. "You got it! Speedy Justin is on the case. Corbyn, while we're doing that, you go in the prison cells and see if you can calm the slaves down, ok?" Justin pounced over to the Badger without another thought and poked his tongue out at the rough animal. "Nya Nya! You forgot about me Mr. Slave-guard! Come and get me!" The Badger became furious and chased after Justin, leaving Corbyn and Daren to their jobs

Corbyn: Corbyn started to go into the cells and proceeded to calm the prisoners down and get them ready to try and escape and wait for the signal to go for it."Now it's up to Daren and Justin to do their jobs the way we planned."

Daren: Daren watched Justin and the badger until they were out of sight. "OK. Now." Daren quickly and silently grabbed the keys and carried them to the gate. Daren, with amazing nimbleness, inserted the keys into the keyholes one by one until they were all unlocked and opened. "Done."

Justin: Meanwhile, Justin led the badger on a chase back into the main hall, where Dormra was trying to sleep. Dormra awoke with a startled yelp and caught sight of Justin and the badger guard."What in the hell is going on here? Escaped slave? I'll settle this!" But at that moment the badger guard accidentally pushed Dormra backwards off his throne, causing him to get knocked unconscious. Justin sighed with relief and continued to lead the badger on a wild run as far away from his friends as possible. He wandered what they were doing at that moment and hoped they were getting the slaves out of the prisons.

Corbyn: "Come on! Let's get moving we have to escape from here before it gets too tight with guards." Corbyn issued to the prisoners as they started to run out of their cells. They headed to the main gate as Corbyn led them along, then he started to fix controls to try and open the front gate and, as he was doing this, he was hoping Daren was keeping guard behind them and he also started to wonder where Justin was now. "I hope he's doing alright....no the top priority is to get everyone else out first." he told to himself.

Daren: Daren looked around behind the escaping group, watching for guards to appear out of nowhere and attack them. He gritted his teeth with his heart pounding as he ran as fast as he could. He hoped that the others ahead of them were OK and that Justin was OK. Daren lifted his head up and his eyes narrowed. "We WILL get out of here alive."

Justin: while this was going on Justin was starting to run out of breath and options. He had to find a way to get rid of this Badger guard and fast, or else he would be running and hiding forever and his friends may get caught. So he came up with a plan. All he had to do was find a high place. Quickly climbing up a pillar and waiting till the guard ran past blindly, Justin watched in amusement as the badger blasted through into a bedroom, no doubt belonging to Dormra, and the last Justin heard from the badger was its surprised scream as it fell from the bedroom window to its death. Unknown to Justin and his friends, Dormra had regained consciousness and rubbed his head hard. "First they free my slaves, then they kill my guard, well these little punks will get it now!" Dormra summoned a powerful tornado and aimed it for the three boys. He was determined to find out whom or what had caused him so much trouble.

Corbyn: Corbyn finally got the front gate open as the gate started to fall down and open to make an escape route. Corbyn waited there until the prisoners started to escape, making sure they got out safely. "At least it seems that everything is going as planned but Justin better hurry and catch up to us." Corbyn whispered to himself.

Daren: Daren ran towards Corbyn and stopped right in front of him, nearly burning off his paw pads. He panted as his head drooped in front of Corbyn. "That's all of them. Now t-"

At that moment, Dormra's tornado was coming towards Corbyn and Daren. "What the h-"

Justin: Justin was satisfied that he had finally dealt with the badger and was heading back to his friends when the same tornado spell appeared in front of him suddenly. "Heck, here I was thinking this was going to be easy." He whined. The tornado sucked the boys up and spat them all inside an almost entirely electrical floating ball suspended in mid-air in front of Dormra. Dormra smiled at the boys fiercely. "Well well. I knew this day would come. Interesting what one can see or cannot see when one can only have glimpses of the future. You three have been destined to come here and defeat me, and to become the kings of this place. I saw it happen, and so did your friend Sarah. THAT'S why I kid-napped all the people on your ship and made them my slaves, so I could trap you three! And it worked! Now I have you in my grasp! Try and thwart me now, pestering boys!"

Corbyn: Corbyn's head was spinning quite abit as he was teleported by the tornado and placed before Dormra. He sat there and listened to Dormra's story. "So this was all just a set up?! Why you! I'll beat you if it's the last thing I do!" Corbyn yelled as he tried to tackle the barrier but then he got a nasty shock."Ahh!" He screamed as he was blasted back and he landed on Daren, smoking abit from the shock he had and knocked out cold.

Daren: "CORBYN!" Daren cried out as he held Corbyn in his paws. "Corbyn. Are you alright?"

Daren holds Corbyn close to him as tears swelled up in his eyes, when Corbyn didn't respond the two boys assumed him to be dead. "No. . . . Please no. . . ."

Justin: Justin stroked Corbyn's head softly, trying to help his friend out any way he could but Corbyn would not move. "What have you done to our friend?!" He cried.

Dormra laughed like a maniac. "My, oh my! THAT is what happens when any of you try to escape. Your whole ball cage is surrounded by magical electrical current that will be powerful enough to knock you unconscious and make you obey me for a few minutes, but it won't kill you. Watch! Corbyn, wake up and come to me please."

Corbyn: Corbyn started to get up and walk to the barrier, temporarily hypnotized. He passed right though it without any trouble and walked over to Dormra and climbed up to his shoulder. "Yes master?" He asked in a quiet voice. As he stared at his friends he gave a soft squeaking laugh at them in their prison.

Daren: Daren's eyes widened with horror, looking at his friend. "Corbyn! Snap out of it!" Daren then gave an angry glare at Dormra. "You monster."

Justin: Dormra laughed and patted Corbyn with glee. "The best part is, no matter what form of torture I give to your little friend, he will not even scream or feel it! Anything short of killing him of course, but I don't want to do that. Not to such smart boys like you three. Corbyn, you may go back into the cage now. Before you ask why I am telling Corbyn to do this it is because he will snap out of it at any second, and I wish him NOT to be on the outside of the cage once he does. Understandable notion, isn't it?" Justin growled at Dormra. "You really are a monster! No wonder Sarah wanted us to stop you!" Justin turned to Daren. "Daren, I've got a plan, it's risky but it might work. Just wiggle your nose if you're in, ok?" He whispered.

Daren: Daren stared at Justin and, tilting his head, he wiggled his nose. Whatever plan Justin had had better work or else. He continued to stare at Justin, his heart was pounding.

Corbyn: "Yes master Dormra." Corbyn squeaked as he climbed down and started to walk over back to the cage. But as he got there Justin held his paw close to the barrier and blocked Corbyn's way through. As Corbyn tried to go around the paw Justin followed his paw to block it still.

Justin: Justin turned to Daren. "Daren put your paws through the gap there in the cage as well. Help me keep Corbyn out for as long as it takes." He whispered.

Daren: "Sure!" Daren replied as he placed his paws through the gap, blocking Corbyn's way in. His teeth gritted as Corbyn tried to sneak though again, but Daren managed to block that way too.

Corbyn: Corbyn couldn't find a way around the paws now so he just started to try and push through the paws but for his small body that was no help either....but he kept on trying because his master had told him to go back in. He sighed but still tried to push the paws away...Then Corbyn's mind started to hurt slightly...As he was getting confused on who to trust and what to listen to. He shook his head trying to clear his thoughts. Something in Corbyn didn't feel right.

Daren: Daren stared at Corbyn and raised an eyebrow. He tilted his head and noticed that Corbyn was acting weird. Maybe he was able to resist the mind control! He held out his paws in order to give Corbyn more time to break the control.

Justin: Justin could see that Corbyn was acting strange as well as he continued to keep Corbyn out of the cage. Strangely enough, Dormra was not doing anything to stop Justin and Daren from helping Corbyn. Maybe the evil mastermind had another plan? Justin stared past Corbyn to see--- Dormra was not in his throne anymore! He had retired to his bedroom for the night, obviously thinking that Corbyn had gone back into the cage. He whispered to Corbyn desperately. "Corbyn, my friend, listen to me! It's Justin! Justin and Daren! Remember?! You have to snap out of it Corbyn! You have to get us out of here!" Justin could only hope against hope that Corbyn could hear him.

Corbyn: Corbyn started to hear Justin's voice vaguely and started to snap out of the trance. "Justin...Daren...we are still safe...That is good." Corbyn squeaked softly. As he stood outside of the cage where his friends were still in he realised something. "Uh how are you two going to get out?" Corbyn asked.

Daren: Daren looked around and his eyes spotted something shiny. He stared at it for a while and realized what it is. "It's a spell book. Corbyn! Check out that spell book. It's got to have a counter spell to this cage."

Corbyn: "Alright got it! I will come back for you guys I promise." As Corbyn started to look around the castle for a spell book. "Oh great even if I do find the spell book how I am going to cast spells? I can't even speak in human words now." He groaned.

Justin: At that moment, Sarah Shadow-daughter appeared before Corbyn silently and smiled at him and his friends. "You have done so well to get this far, and I know the adventure has had some scary parts and even some parts where you thought all hope was lost. You, my little friend -" and here she touched Corbyn on the nose lightly. "-You have done exceptionally well, fighting against the control of Dormra like you did. I cannot release you unfortunately, but I can give each of you more magic to help you conquer Dormra and become who you were supposed to be." Sarah whirled her hands around Corbyn and they dusted him, he chuckled lightly because it tickled him. She did the same to Daren and Justin and smiled once more. "You have not far to go before your legacy can be complete. Have faith in each other and be strong. Farewell for now my new friends." And as silently as she arrived, Sarah vanished without a trace.

Corbyn: Corbyn found a spell book and started to pull it down to the ground. It made a little thump as it hit the ground and Corbyn started to look through the pages of the book. "Gosh, I hope Dormra didn't hear that." He thought.

Daren: Daren stared into the pages of the book while looking out for Dormra, hoping that he wouldn't come out and end them all. He then stared at one of the pages and his eyes widened. "I think it's that page that has the counter spell, am I right?"

Justin: Justin looked towards the book too. "Daren's right Corby! That one there will release us! Quickly read what it says! Help us get out of here buddy!"

Corbyn started to read over the spell till he got it and started to go near the barrier. He closed his eyes. As he raised his paw, the spell started to surround it in a blueish flame and started to make a sign in the air. "Deus . . . ex . . . machina!" Corbyn said as the barrier started to shatter and break. Daren and Justin were now free.

Daren: "Huh. That's a . . . convenient name for a counter spell," Daren remarked as he walked out of their prison. He looked around and noticed nothing was coming for them at the moment. "OK. What shall we do next?"

Justin: Justin thought on this carefully. "Sarah gave us new powers but kept us as these animals. She has to have a reason. We should go somewhere in secret and test out what magic abilities we have. The best thing we can do at the moment is keep as quiet as possible and plan ahead of Dormra. We have to think of something that can weaken him." Justin had sort of made himself the leader of his friends but he was certain he was letting them make choices as well, which was a plus.

Corbyn: "If I may add something Justin? He must be getting his power from something. When we do find out what that thing is we can target that so he will lose most of his power, don't you think that would be best?" Corbyn asked, looking at his two friends.

Daren: Daren thought for a moment. "I agree with you two, since that spell looked like it took a lot to use and we DO need to practice in order to combat him. Also, like Corbyn said, he might have an external power source and, if we destroy it, we might stand a chance against him."

Justin: at that point, Justin sniffed the air strangely. "Um... can anyone else smell that? Or is it just me?" What Justin didn't realise was that he and his friends now could actually smell magic thanks to Sarah's help. And Justin could smell a heap load of it from behind the pillar that was to the left of the throne.

Corbyn: Corbyn started to pick it up also and started to follow the smell. He led the way, trying to find the source of it. . . . "It has got to be in here somewhere," Corbyn murmured, looking around trying to follow his nose.

Daren: Daren followed Corbyn, with his nose up in the air and sniffing. "Yeah. I wonder what we are smelling."

Justin: Justin, Corbyn and Daren smelt their way past the throne and over to the wall behind it. It was quite a surprise to them all when they just continued to walk straight through the wall and into another room. "Oh wow! It's a secret magic room guys! This is so amazing! I wonder if anyone besides Dormra knows about this place," Justin then spotted something incredible. Right in the middle of the room was a huge magical sword stuck inside a book. What was so amazing about that? It was the fact that the book itself was letting off groans and moans that sounded almost like boy's cries. Very FAMILIAR boy's. "That's impossible..... It can't be... us?!"

Corbyn: "What, how is that possible? Are you sure about that? This is starting to feel quite creepy to be honest when you say that sort of thing." Corbyn didn't know how to explain this at all as he tried to pull the sword out but having no real luck.

Daren: Daren, his eyes widened with shocked, listened closely to the voices. "Yeah. . . . One of them does sound like me. Creepy. . . ." Daren, seeing Corbyn struggle with the sword, also attempted to pulled out the sword. "Darn, this sword is stubborn. Justin, help us please."

Justin: Justin stepped forward and pulled with his friends. They groaned and grunted for a few minutes with the sword when suddenly... SCHA-WING!! The sword came out with an interesting noise and the blasting magic stopped with a POP! "Whoa! That was.... interesting." Justin murmured with amazement.

Corbyn: "Umm . . . what do you think exactly happened? Because I really don't know what that did, but it did stop the voices and such. . . ." Corbyn murmured, looking at his two friends.

Daren: "I . . . don't know." Daren admitted, looking at the sword. He touched it again, confused.

Justin: Justin studied it carefully as Daren touched it again. "I wonder..." He looked at the book's cover and saw the title. "'The book of fate'? I can't believe this! This is a book that has our lives and other's lives written down! That's why the sword was in it! Dormra had read we would over-throw him, and now we have! We've made him mortal! I don't believe it! Isn't that great guys?" Justin was really excited about this revelation.

Corbyn: "Well that is quite great, now we have a chance to beat him! Let's go do it!" Corbyn exclaimed to his friends. Corbyn started to look for where Dormra's chambers were.

Daren: "Yeah. Well then, allons-y!" Daren cried out, following Corbyn. Though his heart was pounding, Daren felt confident that they got a chance at defeating Dormra.

Justin: Justin followed his friends as they went to find Dormra's room, each one of them both excited and scared that their adventure could be coming to an end very soon. Dormra's room was not far from the throne and, to their astonishment; the former magician was fast asleep, actually SMILING in his sleep. No doubt dreaming of torturing and enslaving people. "What now guys?" Justin whispered.

Corbyn: "I really don't know.... stab him in the heart like a vampire?" Corbyn suggested, looking to the both of them. "Well maybe not that, we're not killers like how he is." Corbyn remembered, trying to think about what they would do to him.

Daren: "Well, we won't kill him," Daren said, looking at Dormra. "But maybe we can transform him into something harmless and exile him where he can do no harm again. How's that idea?"

Justin: Justin looked at Daren with admiration. "That idea is fantastic Daren! We ought to do that... but just so he doesn't take over again we ought to make him lose his memory of ever becoming evil and becoming the king here. Corbyn, go find that spell book and let's see if we can do that to him ok?" Justin was very excited now. This was going to work no matter what.

Corbyn: "Alright then I will be right back." Corbyn agreed as he ran back to get the book for the others. After a few minutes he came back with it and started to flip through the pages looking for a good spell. When he found it he started to chant the spell to his friends, waiting for the other two to join in on the spell. "Gor... Stor... Tra... Frina..."

Daren: Daren looked at the spell book and, after memorizing the words, began to chant the spell as well. "Gor... Stor... Tra... Frina..."

Justin: Justin joined in as well, finishing off the spell. "Gor... Stor... Tra... Frina..." As they finished the spell Dormra suddenly sat up, startled. He sat there for a moment in silence before... he bizarrely enough changed into a rabbit right in front of their eyes. Dormra sniffled at the air and looked at the boys in such an odd way that for a moment Justin thought maybe that Dormra was still the same as he had been; only now he was just rabbitfied. "Do u have any carrots kind sirs?" The once powerful wizard asked. That made Justin laugh hard.

Corbyn: "Sadly we do not have any. I wish I could help. . . . Maybe we can go find some outside somewhere, Mr. Rabbit." Corbyn offered to him with a soft smile.

Daren: Daren; despite loathing Dormra for all that he did, couldn't help but smile to Dormra and Corbyn's friendly interaction. Maybe, as a rabbit, Dormra would be able to restart and be redeemed for all he had done.

Justin: Justin looked at the rabbit that had been Dormra. He wondered if it was actually a changed Dormra. The only way he could tell if Dormra had actually changed was to give him a carrot and see what Dormra's reply would be. So he conjured up a carrot with the magic given to him by Sarah and handed it to the rabbit. The rabbit yelped with joy and took it from Justin and leapt happily before bouncing out of the castle to a new life. "Thank you my new friends! Thank you so much."

Corbyn: "You're welcome. We were glad to help you out. Do take care." Corbyn said as he started to wave good bye.

Daren: Daren looked around the room. It suddenly felt more peaceful now. "What now?"

Justin: Justin shrugged. "I .... guess we're heroes of this world now? I wonder if we should get back home no-" Sarah Shadow-daughter appeared in front of them quite unexpectantly, and had such a big smile on her face it looked like it would make her fall down. She knelt down and hugged the boys gratefully. "Thank you my friends! You have saved our world! Truly you were destined to become the kings here." She whispered. "Kings?!" Justin exclaimed.

Corbyn: "Wha....but you sure we are fit to be kings of this land? We are still new to the land still kinda." Corbyn was quite surprised, not knowing what to say.

Daren: "Whoa. . . . Well, I don't know. It's all pretty heavy, you know," Daren admitted, his ears flattening to the sides.

Justin: Sarah patted the boys happily and placed them on top of a table. "You saved my life, boys, not just my world. I... *sniff* I was that squirrel you saw earlier. I had been under Dormra's control for all my life until the day I died but something in this magical land kept my spirit alive until the day I was to find the three new good kings. I was bought to your world and placed on your ship right when your people disappeared. I knew then that you were the ones to help me." Sarah started to cry and fell to her knees, upset about her past.

Corbyn: Corbyn was quite shocked from what he heard but he kinda understood what it meant to her, "Alright Sarah I accept my role to be a king." As he went over to her and started to nuzzle her the best he could. "I'm very sorry your life ended that way. I never knew." He squeaked.

Daren: Daren's eyes widened with shocked and horror. Then, without thinking, he went towards Sarah and nuzzled her. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I accept my duty as king."

Justin: Sarah sniffed and hugged the boys again. "Thank you boys, thank you. I will restore your people back to their world and change them back to normal. They will remember your heroics forever and so will I. Thank you, my friends." And, with a kiss to each boys cheeks that made them now have shiny crowns on their heads and remain as animals forever to rule the animal world fairly, Sarah vanished into mist and sobbed good-bye to the boys. That was the last time they saw Sarah Shadow-daughter. And to this day, the three boys still rule over the world happily and fairly.

The End.
