Actually, Suicune was a major player in Pokemon 4Ever, and all three of them appeared in their shiny forms in Zoroark: Master of Illusions.

Entei was the only one of the three dogs(?) to get any love from the tv series. I remember they kept having Suicune show up, but only Entei got his own movie/story. I may be mis-remembering though. That was a looong time ago.
It bothers me sometimes, when I think about how old Pokemon is.
