The Prince - 004 by Forest

The Prince - 004

Forest

How long had he stumbled through this cave? Hours? Days?

Forgotten was his mission, his ultimate goal to save his people that he had so foolishly endangered, and then just as foolishly proclaimed to be their savior. Despite the lingering heat of the day as the sun set, the inside of the cave was cool, growing cold. He felt chilled even more so than that. His strength was escaping his body, quickly draining as he tottered down the path.

As quickly as the cold enveloped him, he soon found it replaced with warmth...Yes, maybe it would do good to rest here until morning. He felt so tired, and it was so warm. He did not remember hitting the cave floor, only the sweet embrace of darkness bundling him up in its arms and carrying him off.

The Prince knew no more.

Yep, I still remember this one! :D Slightly disappointed with my own writing this time, but the story has just been gathering dust in my head...I just really wanted to do something...Productive I guess, since I've felt like I've been so inactive for so long. So here we go, another page of "The Prince" story! And I went back and included links to all the other ones so you don't have to dig through my gallery to find them, lol.
