Back at Zal's shop in one of the lesser visited districts of Traverse Town, Mouse sits down to explain things to him about what happened with Forest. But first, a little history between the skunk and the wolf.

Zal's shop deals in "curiousities", things he picks up from his travels between worlds that might be of some interest. He doesn't care much for money, being an adventurer and tinkerer (he made his own weapons by hand for instance), but he does well enough for himself.

The upcoming pages are some of the ones I've had planned out the longest. Despite knowing Forest longer, I don't have Mouse's backstory as fleshed out as the one between Forest and Zal. Not sure why that is really.

Also, this is my first real foray into Manga Studio 5! Its an interesting program, and although this page took me twice as long to make, due to learning the ins and outs of it, I believe the next ones are going to be much faster now that I think I have the hang of it. I never even went back to Sai or Photoshop once for this whole thing, and I feel like I got some lighting effects going on here that I couldn't do in Sai (or very easily anyway, I don't know everything about that program to be honest).
