Ages ago, I was fan of a French young adult Science fiction and Fantasy book series named Tara Duncan. (I swear the covers look less girlish in the French version >_>; )

In 2009, I wrote this one-shot short fanfiction for an official contest, the winner being published at the end of book 7. At the time, the story was in the twelve nominated short stories. I finally lost (and I can see why now I have more experience), but it was nonetheless a very interesting experience, because I was not used to write stories in a pre-existing universe.

Translated a bit by me and a lot by Lokine, and former user of deviantArt. It was made at the time my English sucked a lot. For this submission on Weasyl, I spent a long time for clearing a lot of translation mistakes, although I probably missed some. -_-"

"Spellbinder" is the in-universe word for "sorcerer" in the Tara Duncan book series.
