Funny, I was just going through the first Shining Force on the genesis this past week and thought the same thing. Especially after hearing so much praise over the game.
Kiiiiinda reacted the same way too. Lots of swearing, cursing, irritation at the pace of the game. Unfair difficulty spikes, the works.
Still, I needed this; to randomly check Weasyl and find a angry rabbit holding a Sega controller looking like he's(?) about to break the thing in half. So thanks Fnook x3
