O Captain, My Captain

July's Patreon pinup, Captain Amelia, from Treasure Planet.

(UPDATE: Like with the Lola pinup, I went and made an image pack to purchase if you'd like the HD files/paper doll PSD version and don't use Patreon: http://www.e-junkie.com/285555/product/506454.php )

I actually didn't really like Amelia's design (liked her character though) in the source film, it was a bit wide and strangely proportioned to me, as wasn't very sold on her as a whole. That being said though; I'm really proud of how she turned out in my own style; it was a LOT of fun actually!

This is the clothed/censored version. The uncensored is up on my Patreon.com/fluffkevlar , if you want to see it now, otherwise it will be posted up here in a few days. My Patreon is a tip jar + group fund effort, where people vote and donated toward a common goal to have me draw stuff I might not otherwise get to draw. I don't paywall things and you get bonuses like Hi-res files, scrapwork, and early posted stuff. Every bit helps; thank you for the awesome supporters who helped make this!

HD version (2x+ the size) and versions with open coat, no coat, panties/bra/nothing (14 images) will be out in the end of the month via PM on Patreon, or in the E-Junkie link above. Will post my favourite version up here for free later.

Thanks, I know it sounds obvious from me, but I have to agree, haha.

I... I actually remember this movie. Unexpected nostalgia for the day.

This looks amazing. I hope to see more streams Fluff. I really miss seeing them.

I hope so too; should be more often, it was usually my eye problems that troubled me and made streams unappealing since I never knew how long or well I would keep up.

I really liked Amelia in the movie to be honest. I always thought she was supposed to be more of an alien feline, you know? The "strange proportions" seemed other worldly. :3

Awesome illustration FK! But question: Was there another design you would've preferred? Also, yeah, this is an improvement, cause looking at some of the cells, concept art and such, Almelia's colors looked a bit drab, especially her fur color.

I'm not sure, really! For the purposes of the movie it kind of fit, but if I was art director, for example, I'd have just made a few tweaks and probably not gone full 'my style' with her.

    This ended up gorgeous man!

Fffff.~ Fluff, she looks amazing in your style. I love how you captured the allure of her eyes and that confidence in her expression! <3

Though I sadly have to disagree with a previous comment. Her concepts and overall design in the movie was amazing and, though I may be just a tad biased, her slender proportions were what made her feel otherworldly, more alien.

Also, I think I still can't help just loving how expressive she was in animation.

Either way, just stunning and vibrant. The jelly is still fresh, Fluffbutt.~

Absolutely better than Disney (I would have loved to have seen their character development process, though). This is perhaps the best interpretation of Captain Amelia that I've seen, and she seems to pull together Treasure Island with Puss in Boots!

OMG this was like my favorite character in treasure island! The Zest she had ^w^
