Made for a Minecraft server to use as advertising. This was drawn in Paint 3D and it was a lot of fun to do. I did some thumbnails and preliminary sketches on paper to explore different ideas. The server owner wanted to focus on the content added in MC 1.13 (Update Aquatic) so we settled on a player in a boat with a dolphin jumping out of the water. The player is the server owner's character/skin. I added some gameplay references that Minecraft players would recognize, like the fishing rod being pulled before the bubbles hit the hook, and the Nether gate with water placed so players can swim up to it.

Paint 3D is NOT very good at large 2d images involving lengthy painting sessions and I was plagued with crashes and other issues. This was one of the reasons I finally had to move away from Paint 3D and look for some better dedicated art software. But I really do like the way this came out despite the software limitations.
