Anyone remember Cassie's Band? It was one of the first things I stumbled onto back when I first fell down the furry rabbit hole. In fact, it was the main inspiration for creating a pop star character in the first place. So it was a real blast from the past when the creator of the band's rhythm guitarist Laretta commissioned me to draw her and Summer performing together, as a sort of followup to the picture I did of Autumn and Zoey.

And I have to say, I appreciate the incentive to get me to draw Summer again; I'd had some changes to her design in the pipeline for ages now waiting me to stop being distracted by other things. It also got me to come up with a new method of applying the sequins, which I think really makes the colors pop. Guess I need to update that tutorial now...

The guitar, as per his request, is a B.C. Rich, a brand I'd never heard of before but I think just leapfrogged to the top of the list of Autumn's favorite (real-world) brands. The keytar was just pulled from the first Google result I liked the look of, a Roland AX Synth.
