I've been planning out this Nuzlocke idea for a while and I am finally going to go with it and force myself to make a comic. I want to develop a new style, and feel very inspired from several artst's nuzlockes I've read in the past, one huge inspiration being PettyArtist. She even made a comment when it was all over that she was amazed at how far that style had come, and she herself was only testing it out with the pokemon idea. Her story was fun and full of emotion as well as well-placed comic relief and such.

I plan on making my nuzlocke tie in with its own twists and turns, as well as a tag-along with my fiance in this same toony form. He won't be doing the run with me, but will be in the plot and have his own cameo times and such. Spoilers? His first pokemon will be a fat lazy rattata that lives in our house and eats our bread.

I originally was going to start out with a random generator based pokemon...I was going to use Random.org to pick a number 1-250 ( not including legendaries ) and use the pokemon it picked ( or rather its baby evolution ) to use as my starter and not associate with Professor Elm and all that jazz. However, the way I would have had to do it, would be to use my old Action Replay, and in the end, I just didn't wanna screw with that and taint my game. I'm going to start with Cyndaquil...since I haven't done a run with that little cutie in a long time. I adore Totodile, but I think I've got my heart set ablaze at the moment. Maybe it's all this Gen6 fire starter hype ;P

So, I'll be working on this inbetween college and work. I am hoping I actually finish it, but I plan to push myself hard to do so. I think it would be a great challenge and wonderful addition as a first time long-term comic and story.
