Welp, this is my Halloween Drawing. (It took me a month to make but I'm deciding to release it on Halloween). I decided to draw the FNAF cast as if they got a gamer/extreme-sports-esq reboot in 2004 just like the real Chuck-E-Cheese did. CEC fans call the 2004-2012 era of the brand the "Avenger Era" and I know every variant of the FNAF animatronics has to have an adjective at the beginning of them so these are the Avenger Animatronics. It's a bit of a high-concept redesign (consider it my version of the Toy Animatronics) but I wanted to put myself up to the challenge. So here's the cast!

Fred (Avenger Freddy Fazbear/Cool Freddy):

"Come on down for some cool games and hot food!"

Freddy is the leader of the gang and the design I am most proud of. He is just perfectly what I wanted when I set out to make the Avenger Animatronics. I decided since every classic Freddy Redesign had a vest (specifically FNAF+ and Battington's models) that I'd give mine a Puffy Winter Vest. I realize now he is the only one with eyebrows but I think that's for the better.

Buck-Tooth Bon (Avenger Bonnie):

"Guh-Hyuck! Less play a sowng Frebby!"

Bonnie is basically just Mr. Munch as a rabbit. I wanted to lean into a more honest CEC look for the designs but Bonnie might be too derivative. I still like the design but I would be lying if I said I went to far. But I like my big dumb rabbit. He has a little bit of Chucky from Rugrats and Dumb Donald from Fat Albert & the Cosby kids in him too.

Also, since I can write whatever I want because this is My AU... Freddy and Bonnie are Gay with each other now. It's my personal head-canon for the main timeline that they are but then broke up before the events of Security Breach and Freddy left Bonnie for Monty. Monty, of course, not caring about Freddy's feelings whatsoever and just wants to steal Fred's Pizzaplex so he and his Girlfriend Roxanne Wolf can be the stars. (I'm getting off-topic)

xX_Pizza_Burd_87_Xx (Avenger Chica/Gamer Chica):

"This is gonna be totes Epic!"

I had absolutely no clue what to do with Chica, I'm still not convinced I did. But yeah Chica is a peppy Y2K Gamer Gurl... I kinda despise her... But I'm convinced this is what a 2004 reboot of FNAF would make her into so I'm keeping it. Her Cupcake is one of those 8-bit sprite lamps you got at ThinkGeek back when they still existed. She's got Y2K girl spiky hair and her Let's Eat bib is replaced with a patter on her shirt. That's actually a reference to how schools in the early 2000s prevented kids from wearing shirts with words/logos on them but DID allow them to wear patterns so fashion companies just had words/logos in a pattern on them. Also I gave her a real chicken tail.

Secret Agent Foxy (Avenger Foxy):

"In and out like a Shadow!"

So, pirates wouldn't be cool until Pirates of the Caribbean came out (which doesn't exist in my AU for reasons listed below) but you know what was cool? SPIES! So Foxy is a spy now. I got alot of inspiration from Totally Spies, Spy Kids, Dick Tracy, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, and also Batman (Demonstrated by his Foxyrangs and Foxy-anti-shark-repellent on his Foxyutility belt). He was the only one with pants in the first game so I made his bodysuit 2-toned with a off-orange swatch where his pants where. He's smoking a lollipop because Spies use cigarettes to detect lazer tripwires but this is a kid's restaurant so Ciggies are a no-go (I thought it was funny) and Instead of an Eyepatch, he has a one-eye Nightcision goggle! He can see in the dark! That would mean a lot if he was in some sort of Horror game now, wouldn't it?

Papa Pupazzo (Avenger Marionette/Puppet):

"I got-a da best Pizza Pies this side-a da Brooklyn-a Bridge!"

I thought of the joke "Pupsqually"... like Puppet Pasqually... Listen, if I convince myself that doing something is funny I will accomplish it. Pupazzo is the Italian word for Puppet. I really just drew the Puppet and BB because I wanted this to be my version of JRs because I really don't like the gameplay of JRs.

BMX Boy (Avenger Ballon Boy):

"Hahaha! Check out this sick trick!"

Remember Rocket Power? This is Rocket Power BB. With a little bit of Pepper Roni from Lego Island in there too. Since every FNAF theory about the two says that the Puppet and BB have some sort of connection because they were both introduced in 2 and are vaguely humanoid, in my AU the two are business partners. Pupazzo makes the Pizzas and BMX Boy delivers them!

His shirt has an Anagram for his racing team "Freaky, Nasty and Free" Which is his team of lil' Pizza delivering Skrunklies. JJ, DD and Phantom BB are on it but I didn't draw them so oops.

the Background is just a FNAFy version of the Studio C stage that CEC used in the later Avenger era, with circles on the walls as a reference to the Circle of Lights stage that would come after it.

I also gave the company that operates the Fazbear locations (Now re-named to Pizzatime LLC) a logo and you can see it on all the designs. Some are more hidden than others.

My Backstory for this FNAF AU (I guess that's what it is now) is that a Video Game Company called Cawthtari Electronics was making arcade cabinets for the then-booming video game industry of 1982. They then realized it would be more profitable if instead of leasing/renting/selling the cabinets out to buyers that they set up their own Arcade and get the profits of people putting quarters into the machines. A successful businessman named William Seymore Afton decided to get back in touch with his old College Roommate turned Failed Artist Henry L. Ipsum to make a new genre of arcade. Mr. Afton was inspired by an Animatronic Rabbit he saw at Orlando Airport in the late 1970s. He was upset that the company that made it, the Walt Disney Corporation, went out of Business a few years later because he wanted to see the tech innovated. So he decided to make this new arcade for Cawthtari Electronics an Animatronic Pizza Diner named "Yellow Bear's Pizza Jamboree"! Starring Yellow Bear and his Buddy the Springtime Bunny! Mr. Afton, the greasy mogul he was, convinced an Arms Company to give him some old hydraulic tech used from the American War against the Union of South Africa to re-incorporate into this children's restaurant. This may or may not have resulted in the Incident of 1987... in which the animatronics caught fire and exploded in front of a crowd of children. Nobody got hurt but it was still a bad look. So, William left the arcade and food catering business and went back to real estate... but Henry had nothing better to do so he continued the brand... however, William took the rights to Yellow Bear and The Springtime Bunny with him so Henry made two new characters Chica the Chicken and her arch-rival Foxy the Pirate and from 1997 to 1999 operated a menagerie of restaurants called "Chica's Party World". By 2001 William was impressed that the company survived the 87' incident so he gave the rights to the old characters back and the restaurants were now merged into the new hip and trendy "Freddy Faz's Pizza." This time without Cawthari Electronics because they got bought out by Hasbro Interactive and then Infogrames and were basically not the same company anymore. The brand has since expanded from it's humble roots in the 'American Empire' to other nations like 'Gran Columbia', 'the Hapsburg Kingdom of Greater Germany', 'The 2nd Kalmar Union', 'The Ottoman Caliphate', 'The New Kingdom of Ethiopia' and the 'Bharatiya-Janata and Kuomintangist Zhonghua Untied Federation of Asia' or UFA for short.

If you guys like these designs I might try and make other Characters like maybe Mangle, JJ, Lolbit, DJ Music Man, El Chip, Nightmare Cupcake, Adventure Overclocked, RWQFSFASXC, or maybe even one people care about like Golden Freddy. I had the idea of G.Fred looking like the faceless Billy Bob that appeared in Radiance' FNACEC remake but I ran out of time.
