There are past generations of Galactic Heroes who are known to have gone on and had lives after dealing with their threat to the world.

You know, that makes perfect sense but now I'm picturing powerful Galactic Heroes doing rather mundane chores and I just find that just, so fun.
Totally prevented a meteor from destroying all of Hawaii and plunging the earth into a Century long winter, but in doing so I lost my change purse and can no longer do my laundry...-
Examples of past heroes and their plights are like...
12th heroes in an American Gladiators style competition to prove Earth's strength to aliens
12 people who must seduce and marry the future demon lord, getting them to settle down before they conquer the world
Traditional Heroes who must stop an out of control invading army

So guessing there is a modern threat that is causing so many Galactic Heroes in this timeline then? It related to the Succubat outbreak then I'm presuming?
Also, love to see how much thought has gone into this, I always find that makes the comics and the world so much more engaging-
I guarantee, they did not recruit a succubat and hive queen in order to combat a thing that's been around for millennia.
The current threat is the Andromedan Empire, an otherworldly mysterious organization that keep turning civilians into exaggerated villain versions of themselves, trying to like, take over, or harvest energy or something? It's not always clear what they're after, just that they want things to be very kinky

AH! Okay. I must have missed the mentions of that in other comics, may have to go back and re-read that then.
