I'm so mad at myself for not finishing this pic up until like 15 mins to midnight [on Sep 9 when this post was Early Accessed]!! >_<)

The third of my seven Zodiac entities to finally get drawn, Ferbelle - that's "fair-BELLE" not "FUR-ball" thank you - was originally going to be a male sphinx until My Little Pony featured a really cute female sphinx and out the #*!@ing window with that idea. Fortunately, I got past the "I want to just steal her she's so cute" phase and actually designed my own sphinx - special thanks to PonyTown's character editor!

Not so fortunately, I didn't feel much confidence in attempting another 'feral' character, so I put this off until Thursday and didn't finish it until immediately before my usual deadline of the midnight leading into Saturday. If I spend too long writing this description then I might be a minute late! That's me. Siiigh

Ferbelle is the only creature in existence lazier than her fellow Zodiac spirit, Myrrhdeas. In fact, Myrrh gets her laziness from her. She's a bad influence.

As you might have guessed from the fact she is a sphinx Ferbelle loves riddles, but is usually too lazy to make up her own. She likes to make deals where if you can't solve her riddle, she doesn't have to do anything. However, she is very vain about her riddle savvy, and you can get her to "bet" some pretty serious chores if you can ask her a riddle she can't solve. This makes her a frequent victim of Arteline (goddess of wisdom), Heidrun (a thoughtful lady), and giving her the most vexation, Listra (who often defies logic.)

While I was experimenting with early stages of her design, her hair started moving towards a tomboy. I normally render tomboys as lean, but on a whimsy and because Myrrhdeas is otherwise so close to her body shape already I decided to see if I could make Ferbelle a "curvy tomboy", hence her big butt. (Also, big butts fit lazy girls.)
