A tightly contested game until then end, with the Prairie dogs getting the final, and winning shot.

Spirits would open the scoring in the first with a goal by Remnic Ashru and would hold the lead through the end of the period. In the Second, goals by Backdraft Wolf and Tab Klozowski would allot the spirits to turn the tables and allow the Prairie Dogs to end the second period up 2-1.

In the first minute of the third, the Spirits would answer, and the game would stay tied though a couple powerplays until the very end. It was there as the game closed on it's final minute that Backdraft Wolf found an opening and sunk his second goal of the night and game winner, securing the victory for the Prairie Dogs. With the win, Saskatoon goes to 2-0-0 and an early advantage in the Division.
