Scoring would open mid-frame in the first, as a goal by Cosmonauts Shane LaFluer would be quickly answered by San Antonio's Teague Luxton. Houston's Lee would score late in the period, and the Cosmonauts would end the opening frame up 2-1.

In the second, Brute Belonxyk would put Houston up by 2, but San Antonio's Nash would answer 30 seconds later, and with a penalty killed late the in the period, the score would hold to the third, with the Cosmonauts up 3-2.

In the third, the Savages would begin to dominate, and with two unanswered goals by Darius and Remnic Ashru, the Savages would turn the tight, and would lead on to win as the horn goes 4 to 3.
