What started as tight early period soon became a rout as the Puffins rolled.

The first period was fairly quiet, with several shots being fired at each goalie. Both Foxx and Sparks however held their own, and as the period ended with a small 4v4 period from matching penalties, the score sheet stayed empty.

In the second however, the Puffins cranked it up. With 5 Goals over the period of 10 minutes, two of which by Kova Lewdko and Wingdog, Thunder Bay tipped the scales hard. Puffins Goalie Frank Foxx also keep their score in their favor, as the fox only allowed 1 score in the period.

In the third, the Puffins would put an final exclamation point as they went up by 5 with the goal by Paul Shepherd, and the score would stand, with them winning 6-1.
