Haha, I know this isn't furry whatsoever, but here's the aluminum rack I built for my first bike back in 2011. The bike was a Honda Rebel 250.

Aluminum square tubing, steel angle stock for the brace (coated with black truck bed coating), and a TON of bolts, most of which are held in with loctite. The bit at the bottom is meant to space my soft saddlebags away from the wheel and take their weight off of the shocks, so I will hopefully have fewer issues with my bike attempting to eat the bags via abrasion. Sometimes duct tape just isn't enough. :)
