Blast from the past!

Okay, so I made these back when I was still in high school. I got the idea for finger rings that had claws attached, so it would look like I had claws when I formed my hand into a paw.

The rings are copper tubing, cut with a pipe cutter and bent/trimmed/filed to fit. The claws are hammered, bent, and filed copper wire (1/4"? 1/2"? I don't remember, it's been so damn long) soldered with a blowtorch onto the rings. The rings were covered in black nail polish so that they would stop turning my fingers green as they oxidize.

These things are awesome. They can shred cardboard, and although they dull quickly, due to being made out of copper, they just look badass. Someday I'd like to make a set out of a harder material.
