Theoretical Yoshi Vision Study

When you draw a character or character species enough, you start to want to explore more about them. That's what I did here.

One thing I've noticed is that when a lot of people draw pictures from a Yoshi's point of view, usually the picture depicts a large, round nose that blocks around half of their vision. But, something about that didn't seem quite right to me, so I tried to look a little more into it. I feel like the nose would still block a large portion of their vision, yes, but I don't think it would be quite as much as usually depicted. And, I also feel like their large cheeks would be at least somewhat visible, which is why I tried to see about drawing that into the field.
The field of vision aspect ratio may not be 100% accurate, as I'm no expert. I just assumed it might be slightly taller than a human's field of vision due to the close eye placement and how the pupils in those eyes are a bit taller vertically.

Of course, Yoshis, and similar large-nosed Mushroom Kingdom species, are entirely fictional, and their first-person point of view perspective could change depending on the artist's interpretation. These were just my thoughts on how it might look, and I'll probably come back to this at some point in the future.
