Small in stature with an affinity for all plants, botanic drakes sprout one specific plant from their body in place of spines
they always smell of their specific plant and carry many of its properties as well, anything from sweet nectar-like body fluids to potentially poisonous or drug-like effects of others
when ill or sad their plants have been known to wilt or die off entirely leaving them quite shamed until they grow back
Depending on their plants, they can have grand drake wings, soft feather ones, no wings, and even gills
