some texture studies. hair, earth, latex. needs work, but i'm pretty happy with the hair one.

I dont understand why I keep seeing these done on cubes. Is it just easier or some fad im missing? ;--;
But I must say, the hair one is fantastic, as well as the dry earth. I thought the latex might have been black jello at first sorry!

Yeah, the latex one is missing... something.. but I'm not sure what.
Cubes or spheres are the easiest way to handle texture studies.

These are quite good, I don't know why I haven't tried doing texture cubes or spheres yet, seems like great practice.

It really is! I prefer cubes to spheres, since you have to deal with mapping the textures over the edges. I should do more of these.
