Here's a painting I've been working on for a long time, over two months, picking at it here and there. This probably represents somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 - 15 hours of work. Now that I know what I'm doing with this style, I think I could do it much faster. I'm not 100% happy with the fur, but that just means more practice. The metal I'm super proud of; I think this is the best metal I've ever painted, and I used a lot of references and learned a ton. I only used one texture on the entire painting, on the back of the brush, because I knew I would not be able to get as realistic a wood grain as I wanted without pouring several more hours of work in, and I wasn't interested in doing that just for a single prop.

Overall, I'm really happy with it, and looking forward to refining this style. I am not sure if I am going to use this for digital painting commissions in the future or make a new tier for it; if it does get used for digital paintings, the price of paintings is going to go up quite a bit. I'd definitely like to offer it as a commission option, though.
