And here we have the change that I feel the least bad about...

Joseph always felt like a more bland version of Keiran. More of a doormat, dumber... Originally I had thought of making him more distinct by making him religious, but that trait didn't really do much, and was soon enough forgotten about. It was clear, that he needed an arc where he'd man-up. Something that sounded need as a ridiculous concept was: Becoming a Sailor!

Yes, I'm serious!!! Joe would become convinced to go out to sea, spend 2 years there, and return being very muscular! Of course due to the nonsensical nature of the comic, despite 2 years having passed, everyone is still in the last year of high school.

He would be more confident and commanding, however as it would proven very quickly: He still didn't get over the issues with his (not-seen ex-)girlfriend, which means that as soon as someone mentions her, he starts crying on the floor.

Once more, I am not truly confident if this would have been an improvement, but I do consider this to be a better idea than many others. At least Joseph truly did not work as a character, so this couldn't make things worse!
