One of my favourite artists at San Diego Comic Con in 2003 was the immensely marvelous and personable Gabe Hernandez. Most of his art was illustration for RPG fighting games in the vein of D&D, but I came across a diving beaver among Gabe's originals for sale, and commissioned this otter in similar pose. I have made a point of seeking out Gabe's table every year since, and his work is always first-rate.
