This is what I’ve been working on for the last little bit. I’ve wanted to own something 3D of Darwin for a while but haven’t had any luck due to not being able to get the right material to make a plush or to print some kind of paper craft. A little while back I came across these knock off munnys and altered the one with bunny ears into a random alien. The reason always was to make the horned one into Darwin, I just needed a test subject beforehand.

Anyway he took a while, probably at least 7 hours to paint due to the fact he’s a lot more colorful than the other munny I did not to mention so much more lineart had to be done and I don’t have a proper brush to do it with (I actually had to use an old mechanical pencil with no lead). Also for his hair I obviously used faux fur which was provided to me by the lovely Gomis. I used magic model clay for his ears, frills and tail, interesting I actually found use for that crappier super soft clay I bought a while back by using it to fill in cracks in the magic model. I also used it for Darwin’s opposable toes.

So yeah I’m very happy with it :> I finally own a proper thing from my original project. So enjoy!
