Behold the species that took forever to post simply because it took forever to design x-x. Anyway introducing the last technically race I’m going to make (there is another race to come but I’ll be making a textpost about that later…) the Shlen. I mentioned on my tumblr before I wanted to do something I hadn’t seen before (or at least not very often) and make an aquatic race based after bivalves (ya know clams and stuff). I did go a bit cartoony and alien with it in order to make the species a bit less… abstract if that makes sense. By giving them a foot (yes that thing bivalves have that looks like a tongue is actually a foot… bivalves are weird!) with eyes they seem a little more easy for the brain to comprehend if that makes any sense. I didn’t want them to just be an oversize clam from space ya know!

Anyway even though these guys took so much time and effort to figure out I’m pretty pleased with them :3 They’re cute giant clam easily frightened people.
