Part of a duo of drawings I did of these two Pokemon. I couldn't decide if I wanted to draw something simple and cartoony or something more detailed and realistic so I ended up doing both!
Anyway the main thing I was looking to accomplish in this piece was just getting at drawing characters with more exaggerated proportions and a more defined silhouette. Often when I draw I have a bad tendency of squishy features together so I'm trying to break that habit.
