You've gotta feel for Levi, even if he is a huge asshole for most of the SnK series. He loses pretty much everyone he loves (or whatever emotion is closest to love for Levi), and all that's left of them are memories of when they were still alive... or their Survey Corps patches, if he manages to recover their bodies.
