George is sarcastic, vain, malicious and cunning. He is the treasures and his duty is also to keep the number of the mice on the ship under control. He hates all the dogs on the ship, except Sebastian, who's the only one able to understand what he says (as all animals speak different languages). George can easily get away with anything as killing a cat would bring misfortune upon the crew.
