His parents are Karstov & Meredith, veterans from the 3rd Great War.

Karstov is an Arcane Blacksmith who creates special weaponry that can be infused with magic. These weapons are typically used by Guardians who cannot use magic.
Meredith is a Professor who teaches Electricity magic at her local school.
