I have given birth twice before, and honestly both times went really smooth. Not as scary as everyone says. But I suppose that doesn't change that fact that I get nervous each time I go. The pushing part isn't scary, the 'fear of death due to childbirth' isn't scary because that number is WAY blown out of proportion.

I think the part I get nervous about are all the needles. So many needles. Honestly, it is only two needles, lol. One for an IV, which, is over quick, hope they put it in my arm this time. Last time they put it in my hand which I disliked.
The epidural is the scariest needle. A literal needle in your spine. Thankfully I can't see it, but Mewrei can lol. I've had the epidural twice and it worked twice. But that doesn't change the fear of things going wrong, I mean it IS your spinal cord they're pokin at. Bless the last two folks who did it, as I've had no issues since. I suppose I could give birth without one, but I'm too chicken to. I know there is sort of a gatekeep community out there among women, that it isn't natural. And I sort of feel, less like a real woman and mother because I have had a medicated birth each time? I try not to let that social club get to me. Because at the end of the day, I'm not any less of a mother because I don't willingly go through agony, lol. Props to moms who do! You go girl!
Normally my curiosity and FOMO would push me to be daring enough to try, but, not with this lol. I'll take the spine needle and make Mewrei move my legs for me once I can't move them myself lol.

Anywho, baby's due date isn't actually today but we are in the month they're due. Thought this comic a funny idea.
