It's kind of inevitable that your kids will experience illness. I had some pretty major bouts with it when I was a child, and unfortunately now it's their turn. You take care of them the best you can, ease as much pain as you can, tame as many fevers as you can, but the suffering is kind of requisite. You wish you could take the sickness from them and on yourself, but you can't. They have to suffer through this themselves. They'll be better off for it on the other side. Stronger, tougher, and more resilient.
