I'm really lookin' forward to this year's coming season! He started in late in 2020, with less gear because he wasn't sure if this thing was for him. But after that first buck he's realized this is very much something he wants to do. We've been watching hunting shows and almost painting the house camo ever since, lol.

There is something beautiful about harvesting from nature. Knowing where your food came from, and that it wasn't on some mega-farm where the animal was unhappy. I really want to try my hand at it in the next year or two to see if I'd like it. I'm sure it means more to Mewrei because he got the deer himself, I wonder what that feeling is like.
