Finished commission for Nullreff, of his character Alex! Alex here has a heat based power, so I got the suggestion to show her leaping through rain, the raindrops vaporizing before they could touch her due to the high heat around her body. This one was actually really challenging, with the rain and the vapor, AND the heat coming through her charcoal colored fur. Lots of stuff I'm inexperienced at painting, but I hope I got the idea across. I got a really useful paint over critique from DimeSpin for the rain, which helped me so much! Whoa! That's very cool! The rain and vapor came out really well. I very much enjoy the look of the glowing fur markings. It definitely adds to the idea that this character has insane heat powers. As if there's an inferno raging inside. :)
