Shores of Time

Eskiworks

A long by-the-hour painting commission done for Arinaca, of her character admiring the beauty and complexity of the sky. The song set to this piece is one of the ever loved Symphony of Science songs. I had a blast on this one!

This piece exactly is the type of work I am trying so hard to get to in myself, I envy you quite a bit on this one. That starry sky is very beautiful and I love how you emulated the disturbance between the stars. Then there is the beautiful land, you must have spent hours on that alone. Please keep producing your amazing stuff, your an inspiration from one artist to another.

When I saw this one at first time I was like "wow...." and no more words come to my mouth... I was just stunned with such beauty...

    Really Great work! =3

This is still one of the best pieces of art I've ever gotten <3 At some point I'll have to get a print off of you when you do your next sale of them. The prints I can get here are no where near as nice as the ones I've gotten from you previously. Is there any chance you could add this to Collections?

Thank you so much! You know, my printer is actually in need of being replaced, which is why I haven't offered prints in a while. I need to budget to replace it soon though. Sent this to your collections! =D

Hehe fair enough! If you find a really nice printer for art prints please post about it! Most of mine have been alright, but no where near as nice as I'd like them. Though I wonder how much paper comes into that too - I usually print on photo paper but the prints I have from you are on something different, and nicer. Would be keen to hear about what you use for printing/paper etc :D Thank you so much for sending it to my collection :D Much appreciated!

I discovered that my art prints GREAT with a medium gloss photo paper, even though previously I had preferred a matte surface paper for printing. It eats up ink though, so back when I was making them they were a bit more expensive. The printer I'm looking into can do 13" X 19" full bleed giclee quality, so I'm saving my pennies so I can offer some AWESOME stuff! =D

Oh man that's going to be one amazing printer :D I usually use a medium gloss paper too, but the colours always end up looking a bit... off or slightly "fuzzy" looking. Hoping it's not the paper, because I use relatively cheap gloss photo paper, doesn't have a brand printed on the back, so prefer using it. The matte paper you print on looks great! Can definitely see it being an ink consumer though haha.

Ah, makes me want to stretch out and gaze at the stars for a while myself...
