Arthus of Frouzéville by Erkhyan

Arthus of Frouzéville

Erkhyan

Three years and a half after I first sketched this, I finally took some time to give it a finished look. Procrastination, ladies and gentlemen.

The character is Arthus, from Christophe Gibelin and Claire Wendling’s Les Lumières de l’Amalou.

Mr. Gibelin, Mrs. Wendling, I’m sorry for undressing your book’s tragic villain, but… well. I have excuses.

(Yes, he’s supposed to be an anthropomorphic ferret. I always wondered why Wendling drew him to look more like a feline kind of critter.)
