These past several months have been interesting for me. Tried out a pig avatar in Second Life, liked it so much that I wound up deciding to stay this way. Yup, I'm a pig, now. At least part-time. There's something more humanlike about being a pig, while also still being an animal. It's like, this is almost true to real life. (Even if not really.)

I feel I should elaborate on how I wound up with two thumbs on each hand. Good hooved hands are few and far between in SL. These were the best I could find. And yet, I kinda like the idea. Makes for better grasping, for one thing. And from an evolutionary standpoint, pigs (and other ungulates) have a pair of smaller toes behind their big ones, so it'd make sense for those small toes to evolve into thumbs.

As for what hasn't changed, I'm still female. That's pretty important. I'm also still near-sighted. I'm near-sighted in real life, so giving my fursona glasses helps connect my fursona with myself. Still 14. I am obviously a lot older than 14 in real life, but I wanted to revisit my childhood without going too young, and 14 seemed like the most fitting age for myself. And of course, gotta include my Game Boy in the ref. It's my favorite game system of all time, after all! (Ironically, I don't actually own a blue Game Boy.)

I put a lot more effort into this than my [previous ref]. I may not be an artist, but it's possible to create a decent ref even with screenshots. Can't tell you how many hours this took, though.
