A Musical Ride

Her hooves pounded the ground, they striked the sand as she spun around the corner. Heather barley could stay on as the mares legs moved fast, rushing towards the jump. Heather strreightend herself, focused her eyes on the jump and counted in her head, one, two, three, Luka lifted her legs up just before the jump and soared over the obstacle below her. Heather's jacket flew in he wind behind her, two slow for the pace.

Her beat was in rythym, a fast pace, but rythmic. Each stride stretched father than the last until she was flying faster then the wind. Each jump was not even a faze for her, even though Heather could feel the mare's chest tight, and her heart was pounding. Her breaths were like a hurricane's wind as she round another corner. She through her head up to gain enthusiasm that Heather couldnt keep up with, but she just gained her balance and let the mare do the work until they needed to head for the next jump.

The crowd seemed quiet, even though their mouths were screaming, and screeching. The wind blew on her neck, but not violently, a soft warm breeze, much unlikly for the pace Luka and her were moving. Up and over they went, towards the next jump. All that Heather could think about is the harmony of riding her horse. Riding Luka was like riding in a soft beat of a song. Her stride was long, but soft, her hooves beated the ground much like the drums needed for the perfect agreement of music. Her bit charmed and chanked like the bell needed to upkeep a perfect rhythm.

On and on they went until they headed towards the last jump. Heather closed her eyes, and breathed the fresh air. she let Luka's head out until she stretched it back to head for the jump. Heather pushed her, but not to much, until they reached the base of the jump. Heather

lifted her body up at perfect timing, in synchronize with Luka. They both breathed in the sunset clouds which reminded them of the sea. The pink's purple's and blues colored there skin the with the vibrant beautiful colors. Heather knew then she was happy.
