I like and hate how it turned out. I like the idea, composition, parts of the ground, and overall end result isn't too bad (relatively speaking).
However, values are weak, shading is lackluster, and there's no real method besides semi-random mindless experimentation. The further I progressed - I had less and less of an idea of what I was doing.

note to self: Establish base colors and values *and stick with them. Don't stray too far from them.
