Over the past while, I've found myself making a lot of creatures, mostly for the fun of it, and this was my latest one. I wasn't going to give it a name, but then ended up calling it "Kúru". I also originally hadn't planned to upload him, but I ended up really liking how he came out, so here he is.

Kúru has shadow arms that he uses to help him collect mass amounts of food. In light, they can "touch" things, but can't technically interact with them and any outside force attempting to interact with them just phases through the arms. Only really in the darkness do they become tangible.
He is always hungry and on the prowl for food. Generally during the day, he will spend his time hunting and scavenging to collect all the food he can find in a hidden pile. As his arms cannot technically grab the food while in the light, he uses them to climb up to places he would normally not be able to reach. Once it's dark, he will gorge himself on all he can eat before resting for the next day's hunt. His food preferences are raw meat and sludges high in protein.
