Denali is basically an ancient tree-hugging hippie, so he saw the tree in the last page and was sad that it was blown up. It's snapped in half higher up, but it didn't occur to me to make enough room to show that, but I tried. The only thing you need to remember about the tree is that it's dead, so in other flashbacks where it's alive, you know that happened before this.

I cannot guarantee I will spend that much time on the shading every page. It took forever. <__<;
