I love how a lot of these designs have very distinct and recognizable silhouettes. I've actually got pages of unfinished cultural armor thumbnails for my worldbuilding as well, I just haven't had the time to develop them. From what I've seen of your armor designs, you have a knack for the creative but fully functional-looking.

Why thank you! I do feel if you're designing something like armour there should be some practicality involved.
And I've found that thumbnails and silhouettes are excellent ways of both breaking down an idea to bare bones and getting that idea out on paper. Even if you don't find time to come back and develop them, at least they're there, out in the world.

Thumbnails are overlooked so often by so many artists, and I've been trying to develop more of a habit of using them for most things. So true about getting it down on paper; I wish I had thought to sketch out a lot of my earliest ideas when I was much younger.
