Back in… hmm… May? matthewebel reached out to me for artwork to use as a base for his 2017 show promos. After some back and forth we settled on something a little more evocative than literally illustrative, since I don't think any image can capture the magic and transportiveness (it's a word shut up) of his live shows. Rather, I wanted to evoke the feeling one gets of being the audience at one of his performances.

Used references from Hubble as well as a few from Ebel's own Flickr account—but the Ebelship is my original design. :D
