Lician Bestiary- Padu Feron (critique requested)

EiraoLaska

Their vibrant summer coats serve as a warning to predators that their meat is toxic. They forage on numerous toxic plants in late spring through early summer, the poisons accumulating in their muscles and giving them a bitter flavor. It's not uncommon for these animals to kill themselves feeding on these plants in drier years when other food is scarce. By late fall the poisons have been flushed from their system and their meat is safe to eat again. Females will have litters of 5-7 lambs from the first thaw in spring to the last days of autumn every 30 Lician days (45 Earth days). Average lifespan is 40 Lician years (92 Earth years).
This species is shown to be on a natural decline, heading towards extinction within a dragons lifetime (85,000 Lyrs or 195,500 Eyrs). Causes include changes in habitat and competition with other herbivores.
