This was just a really quick image I managed to put together. I wanted to try doing something a little different from what I usually draw. I feel like I've kind of gotten myself stuck in this rut where I just draw the same poses over and over again. I've been desperately trying to get out of it, and after acquiring more than a (roughly) 3.5in x 4in x 2in box of 2in x 3.5in slips of paper after creating our business cards in Visual Communications, I figured I would use those as kind of a way to try a few different things. I've got a few doodles that I'm working on with these slips of paper and am eager to share them with you all once they are finished. I've almost completed the commission piece I've been working on for so long and I'm excited to get to share all that work with everyone as well. For now, here's this image.

I haven't drawn TemT in such a long time, so it was nice to dust off this character. He deserves some more development- One more thing to add to my mile-long to-do list. I honestly can't really explain my inspiration for this piece as I simply do not remember what drove me to create this. All I can remember about the moment where I came up with this was it was this past Friday in Visual Comminucations class. We were doing an exam review in Adobe Illustrator, and I was working on a different piece of the same size I believe. We had just started a ten-minute break when I began the sketch. Either that or finished the sketch, my whole memory is kind of fuzzy. The paper was starting to peel as I was layering on the darker colours, but it doesn't look like that showed up too well in here, so that's good.

For those who are following my other social medias, you may recognise this image, and even more so, the boarder around it. Well, I liked it so much in the preview image, I sent a plain dark purple .png file into Pixlr, inserted the same galaxy-patterned overlays as I used in the preview, then included that green/blue boarder and laid it underneath the finished piece in Clip. I think this went pretty well actually. If anyone would like me to create a tutorial on how I actually go about editing images in Pixlr, be sure to leave a comment below addressing it!
