It's true, I am jumping on this bandwagon. "Pen Pineapple Apple Pen" is a video I first discovered floating around on Facebook, and after the first time, I was hooked. It's just too catchy! I even found a hardstyle version, which is what I was listening to when I came up with this fun idea.
This was a picture I've wanted to do for a little while now, and I knew the little pens, pencils, and fruits in the background would be absolutely perfect. I learned something from this: I can't take photos of my drawings if I want them to be a decent quality. Even my T5 Canon camera couldn't take a good picture of this, which means if I want good images I have to risk destroying my nice hard-cover sketchbook being pressed against the scanner, and possibly breaking the spine of said sketchbook.
I haven't drawn Ryu in such a long time, I felt that I really should give some of my other OCs time and love and appreciation as well, haha. And now that I think about it, I think the last digital image I did of him was back in May or June of 2015, which is kind of upsetting actually. Two years. Digital art takes me such a long time to do these days, especially now with school, work, and my attempt at having a social life offline.
