And here's some practice sketches I did with Mia and Alex! I wanted to try stretching my comfort limits a bit by giving both of them more intense expressions. This also gave me a chance to try out a few changes with Mia's face to see how they looked.

Now, this isn't the official redesign of Mia, but it's more like the first step of it. She'll still be cute and adorable, but I also wanted to give her a face that was better capable of serious expressions as well. And also separated her from the catgirl look. ^_^;
