Lady of the Lake by ebonydragon

Lady of the Lake

ebonydragon

Commission for Phil V.
This character is sort of inspired by the Arthurian legends. A maiden in love got her confession rejected. Heartbroken, she rowed to the middle of the lake and fell into it. The gods took pity on her and gave her a mermaid form. They used the outfit she was wearing as raw material to create scales on her body. It was a beautiful multi-colored dress with a golden belt, made by herself to impress the man she was in love with. The gown was so skillfully handsewn each color blended with each other.

Oh wow she is beautiful, and the chosen colour palette really works well! I really love the detailing and the way you have drawn her scales too!

You're more then welcome. I do like talk to artists and to people about art as a whole! Plus if something has been done well it only takes a couple of minuets to say. Hey, this is cool! :D
